@@saccount8009 yes, being the best returner isn't really about making a lot of very hard to make returns because the opponent should end the point on the next shot. It's more about making high-quality returns out of average serves to neutralize the rally.

let me ask you a question, was Fed past his prime in 2008? so in 2009 he was done.. over the hill at the age of 28.........Fedals always default to that same line, Fed was past his prime in 2004, 17 year Nadal beat fed for the first time on a hardcourt, in 2005 marat safin beat fed at australian open final, in 2008 Nadal beat Fed at wimbledon final, in 2009 Nadal beat fed at australian open final, in 2009 Del Potro beat Fed at us open final, in 2007 Djokovic beat Fed for the first time eventually surpassing him in head to head, in 2010 an 2011 us open, Djokovic knocked out Fed at us open, i'm not even gonna mention the countless times nadal beat fed at the french....notice a trend here, how about the competition caught up to him?
@zvonkosolin8627Ай бұрын
@@fransiscoscaramanga674 How about you watch some tennis then you would have no need for questions, Federer last year of his prime was 2008, mononucleosis accelerated his decline, that was the first season he started to slow down, 2009 was 2nd consecutive season of him declining, he was not as fast, he was not as agressive, family life obligations come into primary focus ect, NEVER again was he close to what he was 2004-2008, djokovic never gain anything regarding matchups with Federer or Nadal until they were way past their form, it was 2015 season that djokovic gained H2H advantage, and that was his best season of his prime while Federer was 7 years out of his, and he still clapped djokovic 6:0 in 2012, something djokovic NEVER could do to him... now for other names Saffin was holding onto his life in that australian 2005 match and earned the win, Nadal was already expirianced veteran on ATP durning 2004, he joined ATP in 2001, 2005 was his breakthrough year where he defeated the G.O.A.T. on his way to 1st Roland Garros title, and 2006 was the first season of his prime where he defended his title against G.O.A.T. not to mention level of play he shown, something djokovic never got remotely close to. So competition has nothing to do with anything, Federer faced serious competition before he climed to the top.

Fed-Ex's game is a beauty as not solely depending on power. His accuracy of ball placement is perfect n the serves shown in the clip are all super fast. Fed Ex disadvantage is his one hand backhand n his grit/motivation to win desperately. He loses to Djokovic n Nadal in these two aspects of game.
