Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is a family-owned ranch just off I-10 next to Picacho Peak in Arizona. The ranch offers opportunities to feed various animals in unique and interactive manners. Feed stingrays, goats, donkeys, and lorikeets! And feed the ostrich if you dare!

Today we took a short trip down I-10 to Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch - "the darndest place you'll ever visit!" Did it live up to their claim? We show our experience and give our thoughts.
Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is the perfect place for family fun and an ideal stop when traveling between Tucson and Phoenix. One can expect to spend a couple hours making the rounds feeding animals. The facility is well taken care of with clean facilities, vending machines, and a picnic area guests can use should they bring their own food and drink.
Make sure you take time out to visit this attraction. You won't regret it!

I remember that place when there was nothing but ostrich. 😊💜 I just went there with my kids not that long ago. It has changed a lot. It was pretty cool.

I imagine it is a fun place for kids what with the interaction with animals.

Wow they have really developed the location. Last time I was there it was the Ostrich feeding only. This was fun to see thanks

Thank you for this video. I absolutely loved all the animals. Oh my I wish I could go, but I’m too far away but who knows maybe in the future, “WONDERFUL.”

It's a fun little place to have animal experiences one might never have otherwise - like the lorikeets and stingrays. Super fun!

Nice thorough video and camera work, but it’s rather sad - all the animals seemed really really hungry (did notice the multiple cups in your hand, appears you made sure everyone got a taste) thanks again and keep them videos coming.

Not entirely sure that the animals have much of a chance to get hungry with as many people were there with those cups of food! 😂 We're guessing that they're probably just excited by the process (plus it was fairly early in the morning after opening). Thanks again for watching and your comments. We appreciate it! 🥰

The animals get fed anyway. They just have a natural greed factor that is entertaining to watch. It's just like how your dog will walk past his full food dish all day, but if you pick up a piece of kibble and offer it he will happily grab it like he is starving. Rest assured those animals do not go hungry

Do you know of they still have the ostrich festival in Chandler every year? I remember it before I moved from Arizona. This place must be a very fun place to visit. I remember Picacho Peak with beautiful poppies in the spring.

It appears that they do. We've never been, nor had heard of it! 😅

It's genuinely a fun experience getting to interact with animals some don't normally get to. I mean, ostriches aren't usually running about the desert wild all over the place. 😅
