Alright lads, today's 0.25x speed breakdown is gonna be very very different. For this video I reached out to some of the animators of #SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse and thankfully they all responded, and responded with an open heart. This enabled me to find hidden animation details that we as general audience would never know about. So enjoy the video and let me know which detail was your favorite. ok bye now.

the way Gwen's universe was animated gets me choked up every time. the way emotions are visually represented not just in color, but shapes and gradients and brush strokes. plus Gwen's own story was such a tearjerker, i can't wait to see what happens with her and her Dad.

The last detail is my favorite one. I didn't even realize it in theater's and man it's such a small glimpse to see the glove tear open on Mile's index finger. Props to the animation team and this video. 🙌

Just can't express the amount of joy I get watching things about this movie, while watching the movie myself I noticed most of the obvious details while with some of the details hidden as well, but I just instantly realized to art style of how it changes and what depicts what. The animator supervisor must be one of the best to supervise this, I just can't thing less of the metaphors representing our real life, it's inexpressible how some things are just same, whether you're someone like miles or you're just a common human being, the essence of life doesn't changes for anyone

3:48 actually the orange colour represents family warmth. Later when Gwen reveals her identity to Captain Stacy, he is depicted between Orange( role as a father) and blue (responsibilty as a cop) and later in complete blue when he is reading the rights to Gwen.

I love how miles is draining Miguel’s power from his suit at the end of the chase scene, and when he goes to venom strike Miguel, he presses his palm on Miguel. Just like Hobie taught him to maximize energy transfer. It’s like Bruce Lee’s one inch punch. Amazing attention to detail.

When it comes to the comments at 4:30, my headcanon is that all those comments are canon, just at different points in time one or the other was first in the comment list. I also think the "I heard it was made from actual _____ tho fr" sounds like it could be the user referencing a popular meme in that universe and applying it to Spiderman #2, especially considering we see two versions of it. I also like the detail of the videos calling him Spiderman #2 cause he also calls himself Spiderman and the public wouldn't know how to differentiate the names in searches otherwise.

9:16 another hint we get that miles is in a different universe is when rio asks him if the spiderman thing is for comic con and miles goes "whats comic con?", and in into the spider verse peter b parker mentioned comic con but miles didn't know it as well, implying that comic con does not exist in earth 1610

At 2:06 Miguel wasn't about to eat Vulture, he was going to incapacitate him with his venom (his DNA was spliced with a spider's so he has venomous fangs along with his talons)

My absolute favorite minor detail in this movie is at the beginning when we're getting Gwen's backstory. When Peter is dying in Gwen's arms, his shirt is torn up from transforming and getting crushed. The lighting in the scene gives Peter's skin a red hue, so with his torn blue shirt, it looks like he's wearing the OG spider suit. Didn't catch it until my second viewing, but it blew my mind.

7:25 look at the battery that is on the watch in particular. It’s in the prowlers colors, has the signature prowler panther on it, and the letter P. another subtle nod to the fact that miles is actually supposed to be the prowler instead of Spider-Man.

A detail I saw: in the clothes changing scene, in the Halloween part, Peter was wearing a green dino costume, looking awfully like a lizard. And guess what he became. A lizard. God damn the animators really put their mind and heart into this movie!

10:10 this could also be Miguel before he got the Spider powers, we've seen Peter Parker go through drastic physical changes when bitten by the spider and considering he got the powers in a different way it's entirely possible his eye color changed because of that

@@TheCanadianLad as soon as I heard baby powder I remembered in the first movie when miles is asking for tips he tells him to go heavy on The joints. So yeah something about baby powder and old spider man got me caught up in it because Peter b Parker is an old spider man who uses baby powder but of course it says old spider didn’t use baby powder so maybe it’s telling us that he doesn’t use baby powder anymore. Maybe I’m just trying to figure something out that isn’t meant as a hidden detail

One of my fav bits about the spiderpunk scene where he's stealing the items for his jury rigged multiverse watch is in the scene where he steals the LCD, you can see him holding it between his fingers facing away from miles, they show you HOW he did the trick. Took me 4 watches to notice it.

There’s one detail I’ve never seen anyone catch even in the most intricate breakdowns If you really slow the spot nightmare sequence down it shows him standing over a bunch of defeated Spider-Men on a broken bridge for a single blink and you’ll miss it frame It brings me chills how it’s shown but only the eagle eyed viewer can see it Don’t believe me? Look it up and slow down the footage as slow as you possibly can
