This job can be done if you have soldering skills, but please do not use Superglue on the green circuit board, it will stop everything working.

You r a sheeple . Y buying what is being sold . Wake up. There was deceptive element in this video. Missing a complete process is not cool even if many of the viewers new what that process was. He is abusing the media(KZfaq ) for self interest. Shame on this idiot.

Hi Darryl, have you tried it? About 8/10 come open easily, using the circlip pliers. Sometimes they are tighter, but we only ever use the pliers, nothing else

Hi. Yes I did eventually get the fob to open but it caused some damage to the casing as I don't own those pliers. It's of no matter as I was only gutting the thing to stick the insides into an eBay copy fob (about £4), which works very well.

I did this , ( I can solder) and it didn’t do any good, Still can’t open the doors with the remote.

Hi will the key need reprogramming after the battery change or should it just work

Hi Joshua, good question. The key should word without any need for programming. This is because, when the battery is changed, the memory chips are not touched or changed. The car won't know any difference. Does that make sense?

The most flawed remote, solder and a case that needs gluing, if you ask me this a quick cash from Land Rover, cause they don't want you to replace but rather pay them . Totally flawed design

How did you get the battery of of the circuit board? You conveniently forgot to show that part. You are full of you know what.

This guy is fraudulent . He should be banned from KZfaq. This is not what KZfaq is about. He missed the whole process of removing thee battery from the board.
