The creepy redheaded monster woman painted on the exterior of the haunted house is from the movie, House, with Ricard Moll. I also agree that that dark ride was one of the better ones I've seen.

nah bc i remember my sisters riding the wild mouse during that thunderstorm... lol. we go every year, its so fun. im not a big fan of the big rides bc im scared of heights, fast and spinning things so i mostly just ride the "baby" rides with the little ones lol. but the waterpark is also very fun !!

@Maci Blackford This place has been around for a while. I have fond memories of my childhood at this place. I've taken my children and grandchildren here. Ronnie Millsap owned it once. He almost put it out of business.

Almost all the animatronics in there were from Scarefactory! Very good company but very expensive. Definitely one of the highest budget Ghost Train type rides I’ve seen. I know you primarily do American travel but it would be cool to see you visit the one in Blackpool someday.

Jacob back in the 70s this was an amazing place and much different than today. Beech Bend has just about went under a few times due to changes in ownership and most of the original park is gone. I spent many of days at Beech Bend in my youth. They used to hold NHRA drags there and one of the greatest camping areas you could go to. Great vid.

Jacob: I remember the first “Gravatron” I first rode was in Wildwood, NJ. It was called the “Hell Hole” with the guy in the middle dressed as Satan. Still the best! Have you ever visited Del Grosso’s Park near Altoona, PA? Old school park, smattered, but with an amazing water park. They were closed in 2020 because of COVID, but should be open in 2021.

I love scary dark rides!! It's a good way to enjoy the horror while feeling safe in a car because I'm too cowardly to walk through haunted houses. Too bad my country doesn't have any. Also Jacob's screams are just so entertaining.

I live in Bowling Green now and have always lived nearby. We went to Beech Bend every summer when I was a kid. I think I rode that dark ride once when I was little. Never. Again. I hate jump scares.

I used to work here still live 10 minutes away. The original cars they used are in a museum due to the fact they are some of the oldest in the world still in operation and the haunted house animations was updated a few years ago.

I used to love the Starship like ride as a kid at the local fairs. But I don't think I could handle that as a adult. Thanks for riding some of the rides for us. NIce to see the old classic rides.

Yeah, dude. We're too old for the Gravitron. Plus, it stopped being fun when I was too fat for the panel to slide up. LOL! Your POV on the Wild Mouse was very good. It is the very first time I ever felt any motion from a video. A lot of people complain about that all the time, but I didn't think it was possible. Every time you hit a curve, I feared for your life, careening off the track into the abyss below... xoxo

That's a dragstrip next to it, we raced there in the 80's. Looked like they were doing a drift competition. When we raced there in the eighties the park was abandoned. And we explored it late at night, it was very creepy with 2 old school spook house dark rides. In the 80s the dragstrip started doing big bracket races and became pretty popular, the couple that own the track bought the park and fixed it up got it running again.

The small, old timey theme parks are always the most fun to visit. My local park keeps removing their old, classic rides and replacing them intense steel coasters and thrill rides that no one is really asking for in the first place. I never ride them because I don't enjoy intense thrill rides that much, and the rare times I'm in the mood for them I just go to like, Six Flags or something instead.

In the UK, during the 80’s and 90’s we used to call them gravity wheels. The little town I grew up, we had an annual charter fair. We had a gravity wheel there. It wasn’t enclosed, it was all open. It would spin you, to get you stuck to the wall and then the arm would lift the wheel. I absolutely loved it back in the day.

I haven’t been to beech bend since I had my first born 3yrs ago. I’m glad you’re going to it because when we went down there we went to the corvette museum first then beech bend and did the go carts, the Kentucky rumbler and the 0 gravity fall thing

15:50, a lot of boardwalk parks have larger versions. Six Flags Fiesta Texas has an even bigger version where the vehicles get raised above the ground

Assuming things have rebuilt from the hurricane and things haven't been ruined by the virus or greedy land developers (who already kicked out a beloved bar restaurant), Keansburg Amusement Park is a charming place to check out for next year. They have been trying to restore a classic Dark Ride.

OH MY GOSH! When u started spinning (u nor us knew u started to spin) & then when I'm watching expecting the track to reappear after u go around the curve, the track just DISAPPEARS FROM IN FRONT OF U 10:13 😱 I seriously was (for like a second) freaked out!!! I legit thought the car came off the track! My heart stopped. Yeah I see how silly I am for thinking that, but it was literally for a second then my brain figured it out just as u said u were now spinning lol!

Sigh...Beech Bend. Went there when it first opened. I was in grade school and we went for a few years. There was a drag strip there also. Later in my high school years we would go to Kings Island and Six Flags over Mid America.
