It is crazy how quick that tape ball is growing. We were there on 12/7/23 filming a video and our names are all covered looking at your video. Joy said there are butterflies in the women's restroom.

When I was a kid I had all of the Ripley's books full of facts. I loved looking through them. Wish I still had them!

I have been buying them at garage sales and used book stores. In fact, I bought 3 today from my local library book sale..I bought many for my own children and they still have them...Great memories looking thru the books together and seeing which things grossed or scared us.

I’ll never 4get my first trip to Ripley’s as a young kid (@ Myrtle Beach). My dad did the whole grab the jewel thing, & acted like it pulled his whole arm into the wall. Scared the crap outta me, and the other visitors didn’t know what to think😂. Great memories

The New Branson Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum is in a beautiful n exciting building in fabulous colours n the design is awesome!!! The outside sculptures are excellent!!!

Dalton Stevens' button museum is still there. His family still lives on the property and maintains it. You can still visit you just have to turn on the lighrs.

You are correct about the Navy line shooting gun. These are necessary to set up the larger lines for resupply at sea called an UNREP or underway replenishment. A cool but very dangerous naval maneuver.

I think the giant sculptures made from metal, tires, and unusual materials are really impressive, and in many cases a cool way to use stuff that otherwise might be sitting in a landfill. Of couse I was partial to the dragon and T Rex, but I thought the metal werewolf and tire lion were really awesome too.

While you're in Branson, if I may make a recommendation, visit the Sight & Sound theater. It's a theater/company that makes different Biblical shows, all on a seemingly Broadway budget. I recommend it at least to see how impressive it is

First Ripleys I ever visited was Key West with the giant Robert Wadlow 😅 That year there was a 25ft statue of grant woods American Gothic characters outside of the key west customs house 🏠 😅

I always get a little antsy with the shrunken heads. After 40 years of investigating the paranormal, it's my considered opinion that any human remains not properly interred has some energy attached to it. Perhaps not enough for a manifestation, but absolutely there. Just saying.
