More work needs to be done on this one like Tinashe has said. If the father could come back to his senses and avail himself to be tested in order for this matter to be concluded without doubt thu better. Running away won't solve anything, the lady is married elsewhere now.

Now if the alledged father is not found, how do we prove that he is related to that family, maybe the alledged is not from that family hence 0% relatedness. its becoming more complicated....what if the tests prove that the uncle who tested the child is the one who isnot from the family?....

And also, the alleged father could be the one who's illegitimate in the family. Painful episode.

Tinashe you can strengthen your investigation by screening for DNA in items of clothing the alleged father left behind. DNA can be found in many contact spaces & items. Viable also for a long time. It really becomes a forensic investigation. Mutambara hospital should have referred the child to a paediatrician or referral hospital like Mutare General

How can the mother leave such a vulnerable child with unmet needs for marriage? It won't be surprising that the new husband has his kids. Many are leaving their birth children to play step-mum to someone else's kids...so heartbreaking. Women, we can do better!

So sad about the child. I have realized that a lot of awareness is needed especially to black comminities. From the way the mother described the symptoms there is a probability that this child has epilepsy which is a common condition and with right diagnosis and medication the condition can be managed.
