I do hope that such cases don't stop at DNA but go all the way to address the criminal nature of the case. First, there is sleeping with a minor and there is a child marriage there. People are not ignorant to the fact that sleeping with minors is a crime, they just don’t care because nowadays no one is going after these kind of crimes anymore. These types of cases are rampant in our communities and have become so normalized it’s sickening. I get angry when Zim makes laws they can't follow on. If statutory rape is taken serious we wouldn't find school children having sex. As per usual... we have normalized something indecent. I'm sure if you follow up the story, he did force himself on her & she now felt uncomfortable to say anything. She already seems very quiet & meek which is probably a result of abuse. She's too young.
