12:00 well, I think switching between applications isn't a perfect way to measure focus. I assume they considered that when doing the research, but some jobs require you to constantly switch between different softwares. For example, I'm a translator and I usually translate YT videos. I have two monitors, one has the video I'm translating and the materials I need, and the other has the translation software. I'm probably switching between them more often than 40 seconds some days. But that doesn't mean I'm not focused on the job, I just have to play/pause the video, check something from some documents, etc.

I have to keep email open during office hours with notifications on. If any of my bosses email and I don’t respond within a few minutes I get another email asking why I haven’t replied to the first email. Total waste of time and is driving me crazy.

Martin I felt like you were scolding me when you daid Its pathetic people can't focus for 40 secs. Its a very real problem. I am trying to work through it.
