Fun fact for all you nerds: the LD99 -- the lowest dose of radiation that will be fatal for 99% of people that get it -- is ~8Sv, which is roughly equivalent to 800 RAD (an outdated unit). So if you want a perfect accurate Mothman or Fallout win with RAD counters, aim for at least that! Thanks for having me back.

Voltron's rough. It's a fun archetype to build, but it's pretty much dependent on your commander to function properly, which means single-target removal tends to have the same impact on your board as a full wipe.

Side note, in the Karlov Manor episode, Jimmy mentioned they had a "serial miller" on their hands, and in this episode, he plays the mill deck. You see, Kyle is a man of science. He was simply experimenting with Schrödinger’s Magic deck. Leaving someone trapped in a state of possibly losing to rad counters, and he would not know unless they mill the cards. So until that trigger leaves the stack his opponent is in a state of being both dead and alive.

This just made me very happy. I am a very new magic player who has been playing with a terrible pile of blue-white fliers from my friends' bulk and I picked up the Science Precon because of its synergy with a lot of my existing card pool. SO EXCITED FOR THIS EPISODE!! Maybe even more than 40k...which is saying something because I was all in on that set. I know the universes beyond are divisive BUT this long time casual Timmy/ johnny player loves these, they are flavorful, fun and balanced against each other.
