@@keissylorini9319They changed that a couple times over the years. It used to be possible to just change the shipping date according to your preferences in your subscription settings on the account, including setting a much earlier shipping date (which they at some point disabled). So check out if that is possible again. But last time I had them ship more than the age-specific kit, I needed to write customer service and request all the kits to be shipped that I wanted to (has been over a year ago, so not sure if they changed it again since then). In either case, it only worked when I chose the prepaid option and then only up to the point of the boxes that were included in that prepaid period. After that I would need to wait until they opened the possibility to purchase the next boxes as a prepaid option and write again.

I love lovevery but I can’t quite square having a toy subscription and being minimalist. While my firstborn LIKES the toys, she doesn’t love them anymore, just because she has niche interests that I buy other things for. I love how educational and broadly appealing they are (her play dates also like them) but my house is piling up with toys!! I also hesitate to get rid of them because my 8 month old loves absolutely everything so far, so I have no doubt she will love many of the items my firstborn didn’t care for. I’ve already felt silly for giving away toys I dismissed previous as boring and poorly designed purely because my older child has no interest. It’s a dilemma. I’ve considered stopping the subscription but honestly, their guess is as good as mine what my fickle toddler will like next and some of the next playkits look awesome.

Oh gosh I SWEAR I could've written this comment myself!!!! Have you watched my recent playroom tour video? It came out a couple months ago and gives and idea about organizing a mixed age playroom and how we work in those interests. I literally get the urge to get rid of toys and don't because they ALWAYS cycle back around. I will say my daughter went through a period for about 6-8 months around 3 years old where she *liked* the toys but the obsession had definitely changed; eventually it came back during 4 years old but i asked myself the same question as points. Ultimately i'm happy we stuck with it for ease and because everything does get used - just more spaced out than that first year or two we had them and they were basically our *only* toys - but i would suggest looking critically at the playkits, watching/reading my indiviudal reviews of each one, and feeling free to cherry pick the dupes based on your child's interest that i cover for any play kits you're on the fence about! I hope that's helpful and know you aren't alone!

I 100% agree with you about the Explorer Playkit. I thought it was just me and my child. I actually almost stopped subscribing to Lovevery because of that box. Thankfully I continued and the following boxes were much better. Lol

That one is such a bummer too because the original which we got was one of our favorites! They shortened the canisters and changed the kids which I just don’t think was as fun

My son surprisingly still plays with everything in the Explorer kit at 18 months old, just not consistently. The tube and rings he likes to put on his forearm which makes me super nervous, but he does still technically love it. I'm excited to get the Realist kit which is supposed to show up today.

The marble run in the 4 year old kit is disappointing because it's pretty flimsy. My 5 year old can't get it to stay up on her own and it easily falls over. I love most of what we've gotten from other kits which made this more disappointing.

I like the observer kit but the key/door on the house is pretty lame cause the key doesn’t actually go into the lock - it’s not very replicable to reality.

So the flashlight that lovevery gives you I was initially really excited about it but the quality of that item is terrible which really annoyed me because everything else was so well done. The light flickers. There are no crumbs in it it stared to flicker right away. I do think my daughter likes the kiwico lines better. She plays with her kiwico toys more. Lovevery I wanted to love but I ended up unsubscribing.

So immediately after i posted this, i found the flashlight!! haha and somehow most of the crumbs have cleared out (or it wasn't as bad as I thought?) but we can't fid the back piece to put batteries in. We never had a flicker issue, but it is definitely one of the items i got asked the most questions about over the years, i even had to make a separate vide once on changing the battery lol

Maybe our flashlight was defective. She still loves in place with it though.
