I agree with every word you say. I have been a Dear of Dimash for six years now, and he is the only singer whose performances I watch every day. This particular one was one that I'd not seen before. His "Sinful Passion" I've multiple times watched in other variations, but because every variation is somewhat different from the previous ones, is just an indication of his enormous skill and mastery.

Loved your reaction. Dimash will astound you everytime you hear him. I'm actually addicted to him , if I don't listen to him everyday I go through withdrawals. Keep experiencing Dimash and you will never get board. He's always pushing the envelope, challenging himself. Can you imagine this man with all this talent and on top of that he's a proffectionist. Dimash had a nice low range since young, and also a high register which he kept through adolescence. When he was a kid he was frequently asked to step in for the soprano parts when there weren`t enough girls in the choir. He started vocal + piano school at age 5 (teachers noticed he had absolute pitch), and at 16 he started Classical (Bel Canto) (2010-2014), got a degree in that at 20, then at 20 started Contemporary (Jazz, Pop) (2014-2018), got a degree in that at 24. He trained his high range in Classical style mostly by himself, with soprano arias, as his Bel Canto teacher didn`t really encourage it, as it`s not really traditional (Dimash is a tenor), and possibly to prevent him from stressing his chords. But since university days, his teacher surely has given Dimash all the advice he would need, once it was clear that he is determined to use his high range, and every bit of range, for his career. Someone better than Dimash? ROFL. Not possible. He's been singing and studying music since he was 5. He first came to national attention when he appeared on the Chinses contest show "I Am Singer" back in 2017. It's a show for professional singers and is by invite only. He was the youngest ever participant and I believe the first non-Chinese singer to be invited. He was 22 then I believe. You can still find those videos. He also has he's own youtube channel where he posts videos. His most recent posts are 3 videos of the concert he just did recently in Almaty. You can watch them for free. At the concert he mostly does songs from the repertoire he's developed over the years. I would suggest watching he's older works first so you can see his growth. Although honestly, how he keeps improving is mind boggling. And just when you think you've seen all he can do - he proves you wrong. My favorite male artist ever. Dimash has been classically training since he was 5. He is basically music royalty in Kazakhstan. 😂 Both his parents are singers and his father has written and produced a lot of his work. My favorites are his covers and original songs with Igor Krutoy. Stranger (original) Olimpico (original) The Love of Tired Swans (cover) Mademoiselle Hyde (cover) War and Peace (he composed) Ave Maria (original) He has a lot of songs.

There is a video out there on KZfaq that shows him singing SOS at a much younger age and then many more subsequent performances of the same song which will show you how he's progressed. He definitely has been helped by genetics (both parents are singers) but he's also had a very complete education in music, plus he's put in the hard work to get to the level he's currently at.

There is a comparison video of his evolution of the song “SOS” on KZfaq. I think it starts at age 15, but there are videos of him singing at an earlier age. He was blessed with a good voice at birth, but he has been training it since the age of 5. He has put in incredible hours of work, he still sings 3-4 hours everyday to keep his current skill and to improve on it. He gets better every time I see him. He’s never satisfied….always striving to be better. BTW, you don’t have to watch only fan cam videos. There are many high quality live performances on his KZfaq channel.
