Barstow, I spent many a two week Army Reserve once a year Duty at Fort Irwin which is approximately 40 miles north of Barstow. Oh it was always in July or August. The coolest time of the year. Ha Ha Ha, one day we had to do roadside litter pickup the temperature was 142 degrees. We had two canteens of water. That’s it. Once the Fort Commander got wind of us doing our assignment, he put a end to it.

Just go back to Walmart, to the boat section, buy a tube of 3M 5200 marine sealant, apply it where the screws poke through, and seams. It will cure your leaks.

I have been to 3 supermarkets near to where we live and I kid you not No toilet paper, paper towel, tissues, cleaning products or hand sanitizer. People are just being silly over this. Congrats on your first double load !! Beautiful scenery! #EndthePanic

Solid wall that just slides back and forth. Can go flush to the front, split 50/50. No access to the other side with the track locking it to falling out with a thick rubber gasket all the way around. Make it look like its solid but tricm people with it being movable. Track even doubkes as securing points. (Im a shady person that builds hidden things in plain sight)

The Air releasing might make a high frequency sound (whistle). Caulk tape is what you are trying to say. Barn Screws might be helpful to stop screw leaks

Congrats on first double load. Coronavirus going crazy back in Illinois. Shut down the schools till the end of March, all restraunts and bars closed also. People go into local Wal Mart and buy $200.00 to $300.00 worth of food at a time. Stay safe.

In Houston, Tx WalMart and other big box stores RESTRICTING number of people in the store, as well as quantities bought. One grocery store chains even permitting Seniors access before normal store hours to buy food & sanitation supplies. 🤠

With that wall having to be permanent I think your talking about chain of custody issues where no one has access to the freight, but the shipper and reciever. I used to haul freight where a broken seal upon arriving at the reciever meant a refused load back to the shipper. One shipper made us check call to verify the seals were intact every 2 hrs. And that was before cell phones. Fun fun lol. Safe travels.

Jason and Heather always cheer me up, and also the little babies. I gotta think trucking is going to pick up - possibly even more so in expediting with the COVID-19 pandemic. Lots of critical supplies will need to be moved from point A to B. Super critical medical supplies will be in high demand across the country.

Take a play from the yachting community on bedding all your hardware. Butyl tape and thickened epoxy to prep for all your mounting attachment points. #BoatworksToday and #SailLife are two wonderful examples of premium work.

Try flexseal. In a can brush in on that stuff works I used it on the top of my mobile home to seal it up I will swear by it

I-10 Exit 61 in Fontana, CA - Flying J took over an old truck stop and remodel it. It just opened in the last week I think. Also another new Pilot in Jurupa Valley CA-60 at exit 42, but that location is ALWAYS full because of the Costco DC.

You guys must be hauling some real high security stuff. I loaded a few trucks that had a mat type wall that attached to the E track. We could put the explosive in one section and the non haz mat on the other side. If it was good enough for separating explosive from non explosive, I would think it would be good enough for what ever you are hauling. US 93 is a pretty wide open road so you should be able to haul ass down it.

If leak remains a problem...pull everything back off, clean residue of other sealants, apply 3M 5200 Marine Sealant (can be purchased at boating stores) before remounting your equipment. This stuff even works under water. Only problem: keeping your hands clean of it...try not to get it on your hands.

Could you guys possibly go in detail as to how can one run efficiently and still spend time together as a couple on working days. Is it possible to have meals together, spend time in the bunk together or stay up front at the same time???

What the hell is with all these places not being ready when you show up. I would never call a carrier until the load was ready to go. Every once in a while the driver showed up late in the day and two of us would stay and help them load a tarp if necessary. The other traffic guy and I worked in the office but never forgot how to drive a forklift and toss a strap over a load.

yes , loud shrill / siren sounds hurt dogs ..my rottweiler couldn't tolerate firetrucks / police vehicles , such a great companion , passed away at eight , she's in heaven....no covid-19 there.

Just saw the loadboards that show loads from everywhere. Tue toilet paper making area's have a "shitload" of loads ready to go. I give it a week before they hit the shelves.

I went to my local Walmart the other night & the toilet paper aisle was completely bare . There weren't even any napkins, kleenex & paper towels . No bottled water, refrigerated juices, bread aisle was almost empty , no hot dogs etc , no meats, chicken etc . I couldn't believe it . Reminded me of when the hurricanes etc are coming here to Florida . I was surprised I was able to get 1 gal of milk & 1/2 n 1/2 for coffee & hvy whipping cream. Hardly any real butter, no yogurt that I like . Congratulations ! on your first double load WOO ! ! HOO ! Jason the plugs in your ear lobes are they surgical stainless & what size are they please? Do you ever have to take them out & clean them at all ?

We use Eternabond tape for our RV seams and seems to be a more permanent option for your roof. Stuff works awesome.

First time running U.S. 93, huh? How'd u like the Hoover Dam? I ran that road. I was n an semi, so I went over the bridge that was a little downriver from the dam. It was dark when I went through there, so I didn't get 2 c the dam.

We’ve done that part before. Just east of Kingman it cuts off the 40 and goes down to Phoenix. It was a very nice drive. Wish we had time to stop and get a drone flight

ADJUSTABLE WALL: My old reefer trailer had an adjustable wall that I could move forward and backward to adjust refrigerated area so I couls split load with dry goods. SO...Why can not you have a similar wall. When it was in proper position, the air bladders would firmly hold the wall in position.

That is something they do that they don't talk about. If you know where the arsenals are, and see them arrive from there to a city with a base, you can bet they carried something of interest. Which is why their videos are 2 weeks late. I love NM, cause I can usually tell where they dropped off by where they eat after the delivery.
