I present to you THE BEST EGGLESS Vanilla Sponge Cake you will EVER make! I promise you, you will be making this all the time!
✅Recipe (Makes 1 6-inch cake):
🍰1 teaspoon custard powder
🍰1 tablespoon caster sugar
🍰200 grams milk, warm
🍰1 teaspoon vinegar
🍰1 teaspoon vanilla essence
🍰150 grams All Purpose Flour
🍰1/2 teaspoon baking powder
🍰1/2 teaspoon baking soda
🍰Pinch of sea salt
🍰100 grams caster sugar
🍰65 grams vegetable oil (can replace with melted salted butter)
✅Process:
🍰Preheat oven to 160 Celsius.
🍰In a bowl, add custard powder and caster sugar.
🍰Pour warm milk, whisk and add vinegar. Whisk again, the milk will curdle giving you instant custardy buttermilk
🍰Into this, add the all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt, caster sugar. Whisk until well combined.
🍰Add the oil and whisk again until a smooth, velvety batter forms.
🍰Pour into a well-greased 6-inch cake tin.
🍰Bake in the oven at 160 Celsius for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer / knife / toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake emerges clean.
🍰Let the cake cool completely before frosting with your favourite icing / whipped cream!

This recipe is a life changer I've been looking for eggless cake recipe but the all use straight up yoghurt but I prefer this for those that don't have yoghurt ❤❤❤ good explanation I hope your channel grows up cuz you deserve it❤🎉

The cake looks great ! Here are some tips tho if you want it to turn out fluffier and airier You can sift all the dry ingredients once or twice in order for it to not clump up + don’t bake for too long and let it cool down for 15 minutes 💞
