Steph Curry has changed basketball forever. In my opinion The GREATEST shooter in NBA history, and I'm a huge Ray Allen/,Jesus Shuttlesworth fan. That said. I am a Lifelong Detroit Pistons fan and I saw Isaiah Thomas and The Bad Boys in person more than once and I 💯 with Charles Barkley on this one. Isaiah Thomas was the GREATEST point guard in NBA history. Steph is a 1A if you will. I know Steph has more rings but I believe that Championships are an organizational accomplishment.
@Riles3152Ай бұрын
Yeah, but Isiah won back to back titles as the unquestioned #1 with Joe Dumars, as his #2 teammate. No disrespect to Joe, who was a very good to great all time shooting guard, but Steph won his titles with Klay Thompson (a greater all-time shooting guard imo) and Kevin Durant for two of those four titles. Isiah also had to go through Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and this guy named Michael Jordan when he was in his young prime, to get to his titles.

@@cptsketch13 So Steph is better player than IT because he’s a better shooter? That’s all it boils down to? Isiah was a better point guard, floor leader, team, leader, defender and competitor. Again with the Thomas thing. The NBA knew the Dream Team was going to win the gold medal.in a walk. The strategy was to present the team to the world in its best light. No one gave a damn about playing time. They all got along. You put Thomas on that team full of leaders and the first thing he does is try to insert his will. Chuck Daly was the coach. If he wanted his own point guard on that team seems like he would have put his foot down.
@Riles3152Ай бұрын
All that sounds great, but if the goal was to put together the greatest collection of players on a team that defines “dream team” there is no conceivable excuse to not have Isiah on there. From 88 to 92, he literally led his team to 3 straight NBA finals and back 2 back titles and a controversial Bill Lambier foul on Kareem in game 6 of the 88 finals from being the first team since Russell’s Celtics to win 3 in a row, before MJ, whom his team beat 3 years in a row in route to those finals appearances. Zeke should’ve been the 4th name selected for that team, behind MJ, Magic and Bird.
