This is a very hard song to cover because after you have heard Lauryn Hill sing a song, not a lot of people can compare, but you did this perfectly. You have a beautiful voice!

Funny That’s what i thought when i heard Lauryn sing it, that she’ll never compare to Roberta Flack’s original. Tho i think Lauryn did a really good job she still couldn’t touch the original.

Disagree to much theatrics in her exspressions up happy and down sad! She needs to focus on the lyrics this song is haunting and not meant to be happy singing it...It should be painful and sad thats the way it was written without any emotion..like youre in a void and you dont know how or where you should be so to speak...like a blank stare if you will she is broken not happy..

See the thing is a lot of people who sing amazing don’t write their own original songs. So no one will sign them why would someone sign someone to do covers.

@@threed7How many superstar musicians work with writers?A lot. I got upset, when I was younger, when I enlightened on how many mainstream musicians don't really write their songs and how many writers don't get credit, unless you read the fine print. Musicians performing covers can show potential to the music business, statistically speaking. Unfortunately, this business model(think Nashville) does pump out a lot of similar sounding music but that's where the money is. But originality can work too! Just hope they copywrite their work before they upload to youtube.
