Chris Hillman reached his pinnacle as a singer/ writer when he launched the Desert Rose Band in 1986. Sure, he excelled as a member of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers but he took it to a whole new level with DRB!

Chris had em all. Including quite possibly the greatest country music guitarist in John Jorgenson, and I'd stand on a mountain and shout that out.
