One thing I like more so about Steven in all of his interviews on here, he actively listens more than he actually talks himself, patience of a saint, he allows his guest to talk openly for however long it takes without interrupting. Other KZfaq podcasters and interviewers take note, this is how to do it, make the story about the guest not about you, respect goes a long long way. Great video as always Steven, it goes without saying, still the best interview videos on KZfaq.

I'm late to his podcasts, this is only the 5th or 6th I've watched but you're right on point, that's what I've taken from the few I've listened to. He obviously does his research and has questions but once the person is there,he sits, listens and just allows them to tell their story for however long or short their answer may be,and doesn't jump from one thing to the next question on a list,he goes with the flow and where that person's mind is,which is pretty refreshing to hear instead of a barrage of questions just for the sake of it. Even when he does bring in something about himself,it's not coz he's wanting to talk about himself,it's coz he's relating and using it gain more insight as well as making the person feel heard and understood which brings out the best in his guests. It's almost like an informative therapy session for us viewers. (Sorry, that was a pretty long-winded way in my own words of saying I agree with you. I'd be a terrible interviewer 🙈)

This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzfaq.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

Love him or hate him, he is true to himself and how many people can say that these days! I refuse to censor myself. I am me and nothing else. I am happy with that even if others are not. I am under no illusions, some people will hate me but my family love who I am and their opinions are the ones that matter to me. Like Lennon once said "Being honest won't get you a lot of friends but it will always get the right ones" Ant, I respect you even though I haven't agreed with all your views. The respect is born out of your unapologetic belief that you are being yourself. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hi Steven. First time watching one of these since listening to your awesome book. When Ant talked about identifying who he was on the steps of the jobcentre and when he said "if you dont change, nothing will change around you". Hit the nail on the head when he talked about society, comfort and being restrained. So much food for thought. I remember the story in your book about the rats. I totally got what Ant meant by going against the grain of what we are supposed to be and also about the leaves. This was a very interesting chat. Thanks for sharing this!

Just a few words really, but they get to a heart of what’s going on and this is so much better than a year of therapy where a person tells you what you want to hear. it makes perfect sense, straightforward honesty, no bullshit. I have to be honest, wasn't completely feeling this at the start but the more I heard Ant talk, the more engrossed I became and the more I really started to take it on board. Ended up loving it by the end

I do doubt ants authenticity, thinking that deep at 5? Not a chance, a 5 year old doesn't think like that. I think he knows what to say, mental health, authentic, be yourself, don't offend, etc etc blah blah blah

Slightly mixed views on this if I’m honest. Parts interesting, parts really repetitive.

Incredible interview/podcast I found myself resonating with a lot of this and also realising some things that I need to do to push myself but also it helped me realised I need to be me more. Thank you both for coming together to share this. Also maybe the mountain was telling ant to stop (so he wouldn't get killed and headshotted by the rock). Glad I found this podcast Edit: I might have found it a year after it was released but it came to me at a time I needed it

Thanks Ant. Spent a life time of people saying, why do you make life so hard, why do you take the difficult route. I thought one it was challange. When I looked back and knowone was following I had to reevaluate. It was my peace. The selection of 2 options. No confusion.

Hi, im 32 years old jist gone and i Lost my mam about 10 month ago, my dad was about 13 year ago. I havnt been doing to well and feeling a but stuck lately, well I say lately, probabley for a few year now if not longer. This has made me think and think about who I really am. I think it's time to get out this "auto pilot" and do something that's out of my comfort zone to really find myself. Cheers both of you this has lifted a weight of my shoulders. I actually feel like I have a bit clarity in my mind just off watching this. 😊
