I know the person that died meant well, but it was heartbreaking to see how those poor dogs were all it the middle of the desert alone. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did to to rescue them. It was so beautiful to see when the 1st dog learned to trust and to trust. I hope that the last remaining dogs got rescued too.

@@stefany2024 I was in rescue for many years and a money machine it was not. Thousands of dollars in vet bills, medicines, food and maintenance care. Over and above donations. many times I spent money from out of pocket! You try rescuing one animal from the street, and see how much it will cost out of pocket!

My heart goes out to the gentleman who tried to make a dog sanctuary but died. He was trying to do something so noble, he even gave shelter to so many dogs. Hope he would have been alive and helped more.

I'd really like to see an update to this story when they're able to get the last five dogs out of the desert and into foster homes. These dogs are so sweet. I'm glad that there are people willing to save them.

@@kx_xx 5 are still in the desert still being taken of by the guy in this video. Still looking for enough fosters for all 5 all at the same time. He wants to get them all together at the same time, with as many fosters as needed, that are in that area, southern Cali area.

When I heard about the elderly man starting the sanctuary and then passed away, bless he's soul was really sad..Iam sure he will rest more peacefully knowing you are taking over the care of his animals..I love your self perseverance and kept returning until the first pack felt safe..I really hope you find homes for those precious animals..just remember all your love and hard work has really shown and paid off..thank you

@@eolsunder yeah, that was a huge moment that we, as watchers, could never fully appreciate given that it only took a few minutes through our eyes; trying to get the dogs’ trust, slowly getting closer (physically and mentally), going out into the desert every other day, and needing a full seven months just to get one dog to trust you enough that she’d allow you to pet her… That’s dedication, and I can absolutely understand why he was moved to the point of tears by that moment

I'm not sure that I would be stressed out after leaving them, they looked like they were (somehow) managing. But it did border on heartbreaking when he left each day and they ran after him. It made me think they didn't want him to go, and/or weren't sure they would see him again. Though part of me says they just ran after him when he left as part of a game they played. Sort of a doggo game of Hide and Seek.

I dont think those dogs were lonely, they had each others company 24/7, all the space and freedom they wanted to run around and someone supplying food and water. Personally i can hardly imagine a better life for a dog.

I've been doing this same work for years but with feral cats. It took me 3 yrs to win the trust of one I named Buddy. Praying someone who can help these remaining 5 dogs. Rescue pets are the most loyal

I agree 100%, If you’re paying big bucks for a papered, expensive status breed dog, Chances are you’re getting a dog for the wrong reasons. And before the whole “but, but, but” starts, Yeah yeah, I get the whole show dog thing, but those are few and far between. There’s a million amazing dogs that only want a chance to be rescued. In my book, THAT is way more important than “oh look at me”.

I take Care of the Previously (until I came along) Unwanted. A Few of these Cats, now live With Me and one Lives with my Neighbor, and These Cats Are The Most Affectionate Kitties that I have ever Seen!!! It Is A Privilege to Feed These Cats and ALL Of the Other Beautiful Creatures that Show Up, Daily, to Get Some Kibble too!!!!🐾♥️

@@amyarlotta807 oh yeah, the Mrs. and I are cat people as well! These animals are supposed to be with us, and they need us and we as a whole, Are really letting them down. And the most amazing thing is that even the most brutalized and abused dogs and cats in the shelters are the most forgiving and loving animals in the world. It’s almost like they are extra grateful and loving because they know what hunger and suffering is, and they know how bad we (people) can be. I’m just sorry that we can’t rescue another, but my rescue boy is super dog and cat aggressive. Pretty sure someone tried to fight and/or use him as bait.

We should all care and love our innocent animals

There are many benefits to having children who interact with animals as well as adults. For example, by taking care of pets, which are fragile, irreplaceable creatures and taking care of them, making it easier for them to grow Compassionate and warm hearted. Also, by observing changes in a pet that cannot talk on a daily basis, you can feel the effect of being gentle and sensitive to people's feelings. Both of these effects are created over a long period of time, not only by temporary contact, but also by the relaxing effect of being together. Even if you cannot live as a pet, it is a good idea to interact with the animals from time to time and support the animal channels🐈🐈🐈🙏🙏

I'd be willing to relocate to where the last dogs are and stay as long as necessary for them to gain trust enough to trap them! They deserve to know love in their lives!

Trust is so hard to grow. A dog that trusts you will want to be with you and protect you and love you. A dog grin is so heart melting.

Please, someone come forward and help those dogs. They don’t deserve being abandoned like they were, they don’t deserve having to always scour for food, they don’t deserve not eating some days. Open your heart and help those babies.

Animal rescuers are the saints that walk the earth so so happy to see this beautiful girl finaly understand the love and compassion the man was giving he I hope the other 5 are rescued soon and they can start to live happy lives in forever homes

OMG, this was huge that you took in the dogs that you can get. I was tearing up along with you when you were able to finally pet that girl dog. That was huge for her. Thank you for all that you guys do and I hope you are able to find homes for the rest of them that are out there. Thank you!

For these men to have such beautiful hearts is so great to see first the man who wanted to help out by making a sanctuary out in the desert, but passed away, what a nice and loving heart he must have had, and then, This outstanding nan who never gave up on mumma and all the other doggo's that we're so standoffish towards any human, So for them to realise he meant no harm and was only trying to help them must have been so good for them poor Doggo's at least they had strength in numbers because as a pack not many wild animals would mess with them. Thank you for this post, Ps it would be awesome to have the follow up post for the surviving five still out there.

Your channel is the only one who make me cry, laugh, being sad and happy in a few minutes... I love animals much more then humans and since 41 years I only had/have adopted dogs and cats. I would never shop animals cause the shelters and animal rescues are so crowded with the sweetest souls and they all deserve a happy life with love and care and all they need. 🐾❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾❣🐾 As more I know humans as more I love animals for lifetime 🐶❣🐶❣🐶

Update: as far as I know he kept one of them the all of the 5 were rescued it took a few months and are all now rehoused and lovin it!
