He immediately juggled him, stunned him, and KOs him in like 5 seconds. What could the other player have done to stop him? Can any character do that sort of insane combo like Q or something?

He did try to play SFV of course, everybody was waiting for that game, given the SFIV series success... but after playing it for five minutes everybody, incluiding RX, was like naaah bro SFV is a shitty game, I'll come back later if they fix it, but CAPCOM Didn't try or doesn't even have the intention of fixing and giving more depth to SFV to appeal to hardcore FGamers.

I agree with you, i love this game, but saying it's not broken is not true. Go watch a tourney of 3rd strike and for sure the winner of the tourney will be a chun li, yun, yang or ken.

Oh it's *hella* imbalanced, there is no doubt about that, Chun is downright disgusting. It's not even close to balanced, but I don't think it's broken. I mean things like infinites, one touch death combos, disgusting inescapable zoning or mixups or lockdown. Most 90s fighters are a blast until people figure out how to completely break the game (like custom combos in the alpha series... or basically everything in every marvel VS game lol), but after years and years of 3S it's still a solid game. Creating a fighting game that feels as loose and flexible and fun as 3S without it being completely broken is a pretty incredible feat if you ask me. Honestly considering how bad the balance is, it was probably just dumb luck on capcoms part lol, but it will always be on of the greats!

+penalcrack 🙄 Yes, and for the most part they are few and far between, and outside of some common unblockables (which you can learn to play around) they rarely factor into competitive play. 3S has some broken interactions, but it isn't broken, it still works on a fundamental level. Compare to something like Street Fighter VS Xmen, which despite being one of my favorite fighters, is COMPLETELY broken. The broken interactions ARE the game. Or compare to some of the degenerate 2 button infinites in MvC1, or anything in MvC2 really. 3S has evolved and survived incredibly well, almost as well as ST, and has done so while being a far more flexible game. It's still my favorite fighter, and no other game plays like it. You can disagree with me all you like and that's fine, but I do watch 3S tourneys and, despite the dominance of a small subset of the cast, what I see is not at all a broken game. I would argue that at the highest levels 3S starts to reward fundamentals even more.

@@Neondarkness72 not throw that fireball. 3s is well known for being more offensive then other street fighters due to parrying helping you not get punished so dps and fireballs arent as strong as they were. If I was that akuma I would have backed up and throw put cr. fierce or light dp.

@@Neondarkness72 touch of death combos are not that common, that's why that clip is a highlight. What's more, that combo is actually very precise. Urien is far from overpowered, he's one of the most balanced chars in the game. Akuma actually has the advantage in that matchup.

@@pretzels7437 That combo was a punish for the fireball. If you were that akuma, you would have died as well

@@Neondarkness72 3rd Strike combos are highly conditional. That combo only worked because Akuma was standing, if he got tagged crouching, Urien's jab-strong into headbutt wouldn't have connected. Also, that stun combo only works on Akuma because he takes more damage than anyone else in the roster and he also has a shorter stun meter so he gets dizzied faster (to make up for his high offensive damage).

+wolfumz That's not really crazy, he just kept his eye on his meter like he should and just knew that he'd get the meter for aegis the second the tackle hit so he buffered it just in case. I do it too

+ShadowZero-X- It's half eyeballing meter and half an OS with super cancels, more meter on hit. If you know a hit will stock you, you buffer super, if it hits you get your super. If it's blocked you won't even get the bar.

Kuroda is the God of 3S, but I don't think his Urien is as good as RX. RX just is Urien. Kinda like I think of Kuroda for Q (and a lot of other characters heh.)

Search for Messatsu Yarou and you'll see Urien's charging partitions going to another level.

He charges slightly before the round start, then he continues to charge while jumping.

sorry for late reply, Basically you set up your charge before you dash. So start charging near the end of your aegis reflector animation, quickly dash forward then resume your charge during the dash, then immediately hit up+Punch for the headbutt. To get a feel for the timing, try doing down+back+roundhouse, dash and continue your charge as soon as the roundhouse ends, then hit up+punch at the end of the dash.

That's all right^ and ive already learnt how to do it... Still can't juggle tackles though which sucks.. I love the technicality for playing 3s urien though, it makes him such a fun character to play

Alphonsus LFA do this for tackles: input forward then down+back+kick. If you are setting up off c. Fierce, do it as soon as the enemy hit sound ends. Second tackle take it slower with. Practice with using ex tackle to regular tackles as well. It is just something to get used to over time, not something to just grind out

Thanks for the tips^ Hitting ex tackle after strong or fierce tackle is easier but there's still room for heaps of error if you're not fully used to it... Don't know how RX managed to juggle tackle 5 times on a Chun player (forgot if it was nuki or someone else). The timing for tackles accounts for the headbutt as well hey?

RX hit the 5 tackles in a row because Chun Li has an extra tall hitbox when in the air, so you can hit her with tackles lower than other characters. With how broken Chun Li is, she has a ton of character specific combos due to her juggle state. To hit all 5 tackles, it's just again something that comes with practicing your tackle timings. And for the headbutt; you get it out by actually having it being charged on partition from your second tackle. But with proper stick movement and timing, you can have time to fully charge a natural headbutt as well. Its timing is slightly earlier than doing another tackle, but it is easier to do when you get it down after a few successful attempts.

those are the ppl who has no idea how good of a game sf3:3rd is, they just don't understand.... and they don't listen either, dig a bit online some ppl actually say the "whole sf3 series" is the worst of all sf games. actually the fighting game export exist way before evo , it was called the "cooperation cup" then "sbo"(super battle opera) in Japan in around the year 2000-ish era and it was before the whole KZfaq, and online gaming thing, everything was in coin-op arcade. if it was made now, I am sure it would have been way more explosive and popular then what sf4/5 is now, seriously, 4/5 is shit compare to 3:3rd

Since he hit chun with a fireball mid air, he could start the first tackle early. It's just charging like any other TTH from there.
