Quality music apart there are no more listeners like the ones sitting in this mehfil. SubhanAllah the way they praise the artists is magnificent. Modern day composer, listener, or singer is completely devoid of this essential trait which completes the process of music. In other words, Koi andha kya bahar ke rang bataye ga? Goonga kya janay durga bhopali ke rang ko? Kabari sonay kay kya daam de ga? This is the mehfil of true arbiters of music jo ke asal daam jantay hain lafz aur sur kay. Allah in ba-zouq-o-adab shanas logon ko ta hayat salamat rakhay.

Kya baat hai…ghazab ka sangeet hai..koi Tod nahi..dil ko sukoon dene wali awaaz..Fareed Ayaz shahab ka sangeet jab tak din main 2 ya 3 dafa na sunlun..tab tak maza nahi aata..sangeet ka koi border nahi hota..border ke is paar bhi apki awaaz ki khushbu mehkati hai..

For your information, Shari the poet, was the younger son of the Nizam of Hyderabad, Prince Moazzam Jay Bahadur, who wrote some outstanding poetry. Kal tho iss ghar ke makeen hum they Shaji Aaj mehmaan bane baithe Hainaut about sums it up.

Dil ki duniya ko jo barbad kiya karta hai, usi bedard ko dil yad kiya karata hai..jab kabhi jurm ho ijad kiya karata hai...sabse pahle wah mujhe yad kiya karata hai.. That words have a deep sense, only understood by the authenticity of every word when reaching that point.
