This time I was just gradually blending new ideas and beats into the stuff I normally play and was trying new stuff so its a bit messy.

Shout out to Matthew Pretty "bucket boy." He has been using a cymbal like this for years. I copied some of my beats from him. This year I will work on developing my own style with the cymbal.

Question: Have you ever broken any drumsticks while doing this? I'd imagine hittin the concrete with the sticks might have chipped or broken one at least a few times in the past.

They never really chip or beak, the tips just get worn down a bit and then I replace them.

@@thedrummergordo Ayyy nice, is it that the dulled tips kinda degrade the sound a bit or make it not exactly preferable? Cuz I'd think they could be an opportunity for a different kinda sound, if possible.

@@Hopecaster I use nylon tips on buckets. Fresh drumsticks always feel and sound better than worn out ones lol. Thats why I replace them.
