Ive been working on a consistent vennominaga strat for a while now. I found a really great strat by abusing the tokens spawned off bishbalken to summon the reptiliannne link to search 5 reptiles, then synchro summoning reptilianne hydra to nuke the tokens and draw 5. You can get the combo started pretty ez using the ogdoatic level 8s and 2 level 4s on board which isnt that hard. The result is by the end of the combo you have like 10 snakes in grave and with a search 5 then draw 5, you have a good probability of drawing into trap tracks so on your opponents DP you nuke vennominon to summon vennominaga with like 5k+ attack

That is the base line of ogdoadics. It's a consistent 1+ cards combo with the latest support. Really nothing new, it's stuff that has been around for a while.

No Mr. duelLogs, that targetting immunity is necessary so Starving Venom Fusion Dragon can't target it and gain its attack. Because that's how I lost my Ultimate Falcon.

To answer duel logs question about if there is a reptile that can trigger after being sent to the graveyard from being equipped to Therion Empress, the card Zohah, the Ogdoadic Boundless will trigger it’s search effect if equipped and sent to grave. Is it amazing, no, but that is Ogdoadics baby

You can also equip Reptilianne Gardna to Empress, and when Empress leaves the field, Gardna's effect triggers due to game mechanics destroying it, so you'll get a Reptilianne search.

By the game rules Trap Tracks destroys the monster and sets the trap at the same time. So a set Rise of the Snake Deity is on the field when Vennominon is destroyed.

Hmm… So Venominaga… Her current layout is… _Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes_ (DARK) Level 10 Reptile/Effect _Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with "Rise of the Snake Deity" or by its own effect. Gains 500 ATK for each Reptile monster in your GY. Neither player can target this card with card effects, also it is unaffected by other cards and their effects. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can banish 1 other Reptile monster from your GY; Special Summon this card. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Place 1 Hyper-Venom Counter on it. When the 3rd Hyper-Venom Counter is placed on this card, you win the Duel._ ATK/0 DEF/0 …And later down the line, there were these Pendulum “Venom” dragons released that don’t really play along with the original archetype (besides being immune to Venom Swamp by default), So I’m thinking here: Maybe there could be a suite of Venom Pendulum monsters that both make the Venom dragon play nicer while also addressing the core Archetypes problems… _Venominaga, The Deity Of All Venom_ (DARK) Pendulum Scales: 7⬅️➡️7 _Face-Up Reptile, Dragon, Wyrm, and Dinosaur monsters you control are treated as “Venom” cards while “Venom Swamp” is on the field. Tellarknights have an easy 2 card turn skip now with Lyran and any other Tellarknight.. Summon 5 level 4s to make a 5 mat Cadacaeus, overlay into Ptolemy M7, then use Constellar Tellarknights to make it a 7 mat Ptolemaeus. You can also add Lyran and Skybridge back during the combo so you have guaranteed followup to deal 8000 damage basically turning it into an FTK. They still end on a massive board with a 4 mat Apollousa, Diamond, and Ptolemeaus using any 2 level 4s, the turn skip is just an added bonus and you don't need to run any extra cards to make it work.

@@jhpappas1 Yeah, if I can't get the turn skip I'll usually end on a 3-4 Mat Apollousa, 2 mat Diamond (via Batlamyus), Ptolemaeus, Skybridge, and Altairan in grave.. and maybe Masquerena which you can use with Altairan to go into Unicorn or Underworld Goddess. Gagagaga Magician can revive Delteros and give you more material to end on I:P and recycle a bunch of cards with Sirius but you don't really need them. They can help a lot if your opponent has a Kaiju, Lava Golem, etc. You can also use Skybridge to summon something like Vega or Altair to revive Delteros and trigger Altairan to pop some cards giving you a ton of followup and bodies on board whenever you need them. I usually use it on Altairan or Pleiades after he's used his material.

It is. But I recommend using Ghoti mixed with Ice Jade. It helps you summon Deep Sea King which is full combo. Or you can use it to stun your opponent.

That is specifically, explicitly because "Snake Rain" exists. They've been very careful to not make Reptiles too good because of that card (same with fire types and "Rekindling"). Knowing Konami, it is a case of 'when" not "if" they will forget and make an archetype of broken reptiles and have to ban "Snake Rain". We've met Konami... lol
