Kayla Pittman was really the most fluid, most consistent and poised Doll of all the captains. Her Drop Eye is unmatched by anyone. None of the girls had that Drop Eye like her. Strategically Seductive. Her uniform fit was always flawless and her physique was pin-up worthy on any wall in the world. Her hair had perfect curl, bounce and fling. Her maturity from 2012 to 2014 was dramatic and clearly destined, as her hard work and ambition to be the best ever was clear and intentional. Now, Ms Sierra 2012...she was definitely serving, and most of them were stars, but Kayla was a whole GALAXY and probably is the best in the history of the Dolls.

Gabby’s count selection is still second to none. I say this a lot, but a good captain is more than someone who dances well and can do an aerial in her sleep. A good captain knows her music. You can tell captains that know the music and captains that don’t because their count selection will be based off the dynamics of the song that the band is playing. A great example is the count KP threw at 24:03. The slow move where she widens her arms fit that part of the song perfectly.

1) I never realized how bomb Tailyn was in ‘15 she was eating. 2) Ariana may have Taneria beat on the sit down kick. 🔥 3) Micah’s count selection was off for the songs that she had. You could make an unfavorable song into a moment with the right counts & energy.

D'Tara - Represents all of the "goodness" that is in Dolls. Kayla - Nice. Sweetheart. Seaera - introduced the modern "look." She is the poster child for new era. The most popular girl in ANY room, ALL the time. April - Doll style in the most pure form available. Textbook. No Xtra. Simply Beautiful. KP - Introduced SEX in the most sophisticated manner. Truly captivating. Very mature. Intentional. Art. Danielle - took KP's version of Sex and added Stank! Early on, it was very entertaining! Absolutely no competition for her. Over the years, though, it began to look less like Dolls and more like Doll-ettes... Gabby - Although not as popular, she executed one of the most intelligent approaches to Dolls ever! She made EXCELLENT decisions all season! Kinda awkward upfront bc she is so short for the camera. Gorgeous girl, a foot on her would take her to BOMBSHELL! Micah - The most technically trained of them all! No doubt, but it seems that she was more concerned with "just not screwing this up," than leaving a lasting statement. Nothing bad, Nothing great.

This was beautiful ! You could vividly see the transformation of the counts through out the years . They started to become more detailed with the movements and hands . Love it . Morgan WIlliams, the reason you (and I) love Danielle's reign is because she was dancing in a hybrid Dolls/Stingette style. Far more sensual than most of the other captains, Jordan would have killed moving forward. But Gabby was awesome in a more traditional Dolls captain role. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the GREAT video. Danni's 2017 clip are the reasons why I thought she was a bad capt. She watered down the Dolls history and style w/high school counts & finger snaps from the Pantherettes. I LUV the Pantherettes but I don't enjoy seeing Dolls do their counts. Finger snaps are immature unless you're a Stingette. Stingettes can rock them b/c it goes w/their sass & sexiness. FINALLY, someone who agrees w/me about Micah. I can't watch that year AT ALL.
