I think she's adorable! She's shy and this is her first American TV interview for heaven's sake. I'm apalled at all the people comparing her to Priyanka in the comments. Priyanka was Miss World! She's been _trained_ since a young age for interviews. Deepika is just breaking into the Hollywood business and I congratulate her on her movie. People often want to see celebrities tackle rumors and slam rumors "like a pro", but I thought it was kinda adorable how she got a little nervous and flustered. It shows how real she is in my opinion. Why can't we enjoy Priyanka and Deepika in their own natural lights for who they are, rather than pit one against the other?

Its not the accent that bothers people. She has no personality and 0 acting skills. Her deadpan dialogue delivery is there in every movie whether she plays a Mastani or a Veronica. Its all looks -not that I like her looks at all. Its the lack of preparation seen in her movies and in this interview that bothers people. No wonder the Western media has ignored her performance. Priyanka is not prettiest but man does she prepare and her personality is amazing. She made it truly on her own. Not banking on her father's sports career to bring her attention and her first film. Pathetic interview. All Deepika's smart remarks left the audience appalled -cheap comments....even Ellen said she sounded crazy. Her PR should have done better or for a change, she should prepare.

There are lot of things going around my head. 1. guys, especially INDIANS pls be respectful to PRIYANKA as well as DEEPIKA. These are two talented ladies representing our nation on a global front. 2. Ppl talking about Priyanka's "fake" accent, guys she spends half of the year in US, and trust me accent gets affected. I listen to english songs and watch youtube which is like english all over, and still sometimes i start talking accent and I haven't even been to America even once. Also note,Priyanka plays a American character on Quantico, so she has to have that accent. 3. Its ridiculous that they are linking Vin and Deepika, thats not even a thing😂 anything for views? 4. Deepika needs to more confident. Also, Priyanka is not arrogant, she's very confident so much so that she comes off as arrogant but she's not. Infact both PRIYANKA and DEEPIKA are sweethearts. I LOVE AND RESPECT BOTH OF THEM❤❤❤

adad That's rude of you.First of all English is not our first language so kudos to her for speaking it so fluently.Secondly people have different english accents all around the world-American accent,British accent, Australian accent ect.Shes from India and therefore has a different accent from what you're generally used to but you shouldn't be rude about it :)

No, pure indian are usually black, if any white skin person is there then just because of they are inherited from diffrent origin and from country because hindustan is conquered by many kings, from different countries, who came into subcontinent to ruled. During this, they had married many women in india and had mistress too. amongst them, they had children too. Thats a reason, some of indian has white skin.

It happens in Bollywood all the time but it was kinda awkward, especially the part where she says, "I wanna have his kids," just say, "Why don't you ask him?" and leave it at that. Well, she is not a native English speaker, I guess that got the better of her, wrong selection of words maybe? Rest assured she is a sweet gal, I don't think she is the cheating kind. 😅

I once worked with a Indian guy and I just loved him do much cos he was such a humble person literally the very first time we had a shift together we both clicked straight away and when I left I almost cried❤️😭😂

Manjeeta Khanal india was already made "proud" by brilliant actors before these two ladies in the movie industry, americans need to stop thinking that the world revolves around them when theare a billion people each in india and china where american celebs and life style does not matter to them. going to america and making a movie hasnt made india proud. india was made proud by the indian olympic team that brought home the medals instead of giving the "medals" to other countries if you understand what i mean. If Bollywood movies made in india by indian people got awards in the west - then india would be made proud globally. these two ladies do not represent the calibre and talent of bollywood how can the represent a whole nation.
