Dr Dre ain't the big time producer y'all think he is. Tupac told y'all he had a sloppy work ethic and took him three months to make a beat. He only produced two tracks for All eyez on me. Just because you played the keys doesn't mean you produced the song. Even if he made the entire beat all by himself, without anyone's input, the beat is only one part of the song. That said, three people share production on this song, so those three people likely all contributed. I'm also under the impression that Dr. Dre isn't someone who sits down and makes beats, but that he's more of a record producer, who puts songs together by working with a ton of different talents. Some of them beatmakers, some of them play instruments, some of them are vocalists or songwriters. But he orchestrates it all. That's my impression anyhow.

several years but not several decades. He was the guy behind the scenes for a long time and not many people that listened to the music, knew he produced and or made the beats to their fav songs.
