There is a big crowd that loves RE original trilogy and HATES RE4, because It was campy action instead of survival horror. This remake is for them.

Remakes like this just baffle me. It's like a movie studio doing a full remake every 15 years. It doesn't exist for any good reason.

It was a tall order to top the original. I mean it still is a great game as it was in the original, and im glad new gamers get a chance to play it. But it was just something about the insanity in the gamecube original that grabbed me.

I'm kinda baffled by some of the comments in this. Leon is constantly spouting quips and one-liners and Ashely has plenty of goofy fun moments. I played through RE4 countless times, and yeah it's not QUITE as campy as the original, but I never once thought it was taking itself seriously.

Jokes like the retroactive "Fuck yoooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" that made me rewind the video to see if it actually did start with that, are why I subscribed to this channel.
