What makes you better than most of SCP readers is that, you don't simply read the materials from the wiki. But instead, you explain them to us based on your research and then interpret it yourself. You really are amazing, keep up the good work!

@CLNCJD94

jim pickens they both have merits, Volgun is great for giving us the full, unedited articles from a sorta First Person View of the SCP world, especially with the interviews and some of his earlier skits. Exploring Series takes a look from the meta side of the SCP world and we get to enjoy it more as outsiders looking in and watching the universe transpire.

@@sirmount2636 I wouldn't call one better. I personally prefer Volgun has he stays inside the universe and doesn't deviate while the Exploring Series goes into the meta and while there is more research and more insight, it breaks what is the most important part of SCP to me : immersion and the Volgun is the one makes the most immersive work I am not shitting on this channel, I love the work put into it, but I prefer the immersive side of the SCP foundation, that is when it is at it's strongest

That's why I watch this channel. I used to put on SCP readings in the background when I was doing something, and although it's interesting, it's not the same as having someone who researched the article and knows the "lore" that will speculate about the subject.

I remember one time I fell asleep on the back of the bus one morning and woke up in a bus lot in the middle of nowhere, luckily the bus driver saw me and took me back to the stop though. It was very frightening, scary and surreal, similar to how its described at 8:40. I thought this SCP was heading in the direction of originating from that specific concept of being lost, but then it brought up a giant spider with a conductor hat. Really seemed comical, and kinda killed the mystery/terror. Flaming bus flies off highway as sniper headshots the driver, lol

You could really still make that frightening and mysterious. I had the idea of a large spider with a face and pedipalps made from the body of a conductor that it folds out into the shape of a person with sickening cracking and grinding noises to calmly ask the companions of the victims “Please have your tickets ready for the next line or disembark the train” while cocooning their screaming and panicking friend.

I like to imagine that the spider was just another hallucination that the anomaly causes. I think that's why only that 1 agent reported seeing it and it made that guy freeze in place kinda like how the earlier one with the teens and what they saw messed them up psychologically. Also, why would it toss him out the window if it was gonna eat him?

I really like that, whenever you cover an SCP entry, you always do more than just read the entry itself, but also give your own take on it or even just give it an introduction in your own words before starting. It just showcases that much extra effort and that's always awesome. You and Volgun (who only reads the entries, but does so in-character and theatrically, which adds authenticity to his readings) do some of the best SCP videos on KZfaq.

I wanna know what would happen if you were to look at a picture of 096, and then boarded 342
@SupahDoesTech
@SupahDoesTech 4 жыл бұрын
Well, depending on how you interpret this, this could end in different ways that raise more questions. Such as how fast can 96 move? I checked the wiki and it's a speed range of 35 kph to a redacted three didgit value, we shall call it 999 (620 mph) for a worst case scenario. Can it outpace the vehicle itself? If it's land or sea, yes. The only real world land vehicle that could outrun 096 (off the top of my head) is the thrust SSC) but that vehicle like all others has to stop eventually. So 096 finds your vehicle of choice, let's say a train. We have another issue. Can 096 even board that train? It's known it will stop at nothing to kill what has seen it, but we also know getting 096-1 off this wild ride is highly unlikely, and getting on the train to get 096-1 out also is no mean feat. So either the crowd is made anomalous and we end up with an unstoppable force and an immovable object senario, or we end up with a wall of people controlled by the ticket to keep 096 out and 096-1 in massacred, followed by the death of 096-1 by the hands of 096, or a battle between 096 and the spider of 342 to kill 096-1. Maybe the passengers allow him on to kill 096-1 because the motivation behind the controller of the ticket is to kill, the method not being of concern. At this point its not if you die, it's how and when. Given that in the story they are on public transportation for a long duration of time, hours even, that in the event that 096 can get on the train, you will die by 096 most cases. If the trip was short, you would die to 342. Now, if you boarded a spaceship to never return to earth, it's by 342 you die, as 096 can't reach you.
