That offsides is too close to call in my opinion. Stop the video when they are showing the freeze frame. Coventry player is flat-footed, while Man U 29 is moving toward the goal. How do we know there isn't an inch of air between the ball and the foot, and a quarter of a second later it would not be offside? Flag man is in perfect position and he didn't put the flag up. To deprive Coventry and football in general a moment that people would be talking about 50 years from now on evidence like that is really disappointing.

Offsides need to be clear and obvious errors like all other decisions. The linesman didn’t make a clear and obvious error here, it’s very fine margins. Pointless having a linesman in place for offsides if VAR has that much power to overrule a toenails length.

Ten Hag substitution... I can see why he wants to give some minutes to Antony when leading 3-0 but taking out Rashford should be a better choice as Rashford has been anonymous. Right after Coventry scored, Ten Hag bring on Eriksen, I think he should have left Mainoo on for more midfield steel. Eriksen is older and less of a tackler. In fact, removing a striker to put in another midfielders would have been a better choice. And then Rashford got injured and Ten Hag put on yet another striker. Although that's after the score is tied at 3-3, NOT ONE of his substitutions is to address the gaping hole in midfield and the uneasy defence.

Slow the video down to it's slowest speed of 0.25 in settings then pause at 5:32 the exact moment the ball left O'Hares boot. Can anyone seriously say that is offside judging by the player's boots. Additionally, Wan Bissaka is running and leaning towards goal at pace and Wright almost motionless leaning away from goal. It looks an even worse decision if the lines would have been brought up to shoulder height. A travesty of justice in my opinion.

It probably was offside, but it's impossible to know from one photo. Impossible. How do we know this photo is from the exact moment the ball left the player's foot? We don't. The only way to know is for us to see slow motion backwards and forwards video of it, with the VAR line visible. As far as I know, nobody has been allowed to see this, but we just have to accept it.

Let this be remembered: Coventry lost because of a couple of pixels on a screen. PS - There's a video from outside the stadium showing Man U fans who'd left after Coventry's goal in the 121st minute, belting back in after the VAR decision.. It's worth finding :)

I always have an issue with tight offside calls especially the red and blue line. See, are you trying to tell me that if I should move 5 or 10 frames backwards, the ball will not still be on the feet of the passer? and that should change the perception of the red and blue line? Remember standard video has at least 24fps and they shoot way more quality video hence more fps. Think about this!
