This is exactly what I do! I also do this with the Forensic Files. It must be the combination of the action drama theme of real events, combined with the perfect voice and style of narration. Also series like Seconds from Disaster and Zero Hour (2004-2006). Just brilliant bedtime stuff

I grew up hearing stories about Los Macheteros (Machete Men), and it wasn't until I saw a long interview with Filiberto Ojeda, their leader, that I began to understand THEIR point of view. Not necessarily agree with taking lives for it, but understanding where they came from began my search as to what was so bad about Spain and the US as colonizers.

Ikr? There has to be some sort of penalty for court hold-ups and delays. In fact, they should be declared illegal and should come with a hefty fine of at least $10,000 and should also come with the possibility of jail time and being permanently stripped of their licenses and permanently banned from practicing law. This interpretation is very exaggerated. While I do not support Los Macheteros, I do understand their believes. Most of their parents were alive when US soldiers invaded the island and therefore they had all their rights citizens of the island to not want the invaders in there. Now, to say that the people have the right to vote for statehood, stay a colony ( US unincorporated territory) or independence. The citizens have bought that lied for decades from US and PR government and guess what? They have voted for a statehood numerous times and US refuses to give it to them.

The narrator's voice makes the documentary so immersive. If u can't stand the tone of the narrator u won't take the time to watch, no matter what it is.
