I've been having a problem with my 2 DS's and really didn't know where or how to start 🙉 watched other videos on how to fix this and that but still was some what lost , after watching your video I now know what I'm doing ( I hope 🙄 ) great job on the video really Appreciate you for sharing this 👍🤟✌️🍺

I have a torn top screen cable will I need to purchase a new top screen altogether or can I just buy the cable? Top screen itself is good and not cracked.

I had two broken DSL a few years back and I fixed one but converted the other one to a GBA Macro since the top screen replacement costs as much as a used DS. I seem to remember there was this little ribbon cable near the Wifi module(for the digitizer?). I don't see your DSL having one(or I just missed it?). NVM. Saw it. Lol

hello, i have completed this repair, however when i turn the ds on the top screen is black, the bottom screen now works like the ds is brand new whereas with the previous screen, it simply turned on, bottom screen flashed and the system shut off. any advice on a fix? thanks

Hi, I have a problem...I was disassembling a nds lite for hydro dipping it, but when I was disassembling the top screen i kind of "cut" the ribbon cable...do you have any links for the replacement? I searched even on aliexpress, but I can't find them for less than €20..

Any luck with your findings? Just cut the ribbon on the tail end of a shell replacement and was looking for a proper replacement

Hi, my DS lite's screen works fine but both the top and bottom lenses have gone bad. is it possible to replace the lenses without removing the case? if no, i know how to replace the top screen thanks to your video, but for the bottom screen, are the steps similar? Thank you

Hi if white spots appear is it a problem in lcd or in the lense?

That’s usually the lcd, the backlight itself can be replaced but that’s more extensive

I can NOT get the top cover back on. Is there any trick to it or anything??

The cover slides into place, makes sure the rubber stoppers are removed/out of the way, and check the plastic shell for any damage/bent slots.

Hey dude can you help me my dad hid my Nintendo DS and the battery gotten destroyed and it won't charge and the two screens has the brown dirty thing on the screen for no reason and my nintendo DS ganes aren't working because I troubleshooted mt internet to there now it doesn't work.
