It's lastimosa. We don't have enough back story to know if he drinks but is the same size as cooper (roughly) and has been a pilot for a while. Marvin is looking because he's KIA. As seen in the mission BT-7274.

We can guess from the map "crash site" that the multiplayer takes part after the single player, so Jack *COULD* get his own Marvin unit after working for the militia as a pilot some more. Now, this is just me as a total fanboy, but Jack could have become an alcoholic after his friend - if not best friend - died along with many other people he knew right in front of his eyes, drinking away his sorrows when no one was looking. Sure that was speculation, but I like to think that Jack was slightly more affected then "wow BT died oh well".

Cooper's height is way too big a coincidence IMO. Do we know for sure that multiplayer doesn't take place a few years after the campaign? This may be a hint of what Cooper has become after the singleplayer - a drunk who lost any sense of discipline or responsibility.

I thought barker was marvins ovner since: 1. The messege states that he/she is running out of moonshine and we all know barker loves moonshine 2. If it was barker he properly got drunk getting that moonshine and fogot about marvin. 3. the idea that he made a robot do his work while getting booze and such dosnt seam too imposible

I think Jack is Marvin’s owner, and I think Marvin is, pathfinder... and, I think pathfinder, is BT... At the end of titanfall 2, BT was the last entity other than jack, to see the Apex sticker. At the final cut scene after the TF2 credits you can see jacks helmet light up. The helmet lights read out in Binary coding “Jack?” Which is what I believe honestly to be BT calling out to Jack because he is alive... BT sewing the Apex games decal is BT’s only hint of where he can possibly find Jack. Fast forward to Apex. The type of robot that Pathfinder is is a MKIII, Assistant Entity. (Which you can see, us all over TF2 and is what Marvin is) These robots were not combative, so somehow one of them learned combat skills, or was programmed with combat skills as a MKIII again, isn’t a Stalker. BT has a defining moment in TF2 when Jack fell from the dish and BT was able to catch him. Jack gave BT the thumbs up, and BT computed the action and responded back in the same. NO other MKIII portrayed that, including Marvin. The thumbs up gesture was also the only thing that BT learned to communicate to jack in a more “sentient” manner. And you can see that gesture portrayed by Pathfinder several times, awkwardly but habitually. If BT is looking for Jack, then there you have it...

Barker is the only other character that we know of that is interested in the secrets of the remenant fleet. It seems to be more than a coincidence that Marvin is looking for black boxes, which would contain info, and maybe secrets. And here's the thing about Barker's height, we know for a fact that prosthetic limbs are a thing in the Titanfall universe, so it might not be a stretch that Barker was 5'8 but then lost his legs, maybe in a drinking related brawl or disease. He the got prosthetic legs and became 6'3. In all of Barker's character models his legs are always covered, making this theory plausible.

My Thoughts About An Possibility Is:MRVN's owner is an pilot that was active on the first titanfall battlefields but the pilot got cought in a fire fight with a hostile titan,the pilot was addicted to moonshine making him drunk all the time,due to the pilots death MRVN now is searching for his "owner".Hes looks to get help trough militia pilots that are wanting to help the cause.

Maybe jack left to look for bt after the ending and told mrvn that he just gets moonshine. Because jack destroyed the core weapon he would be a war hero. If he saw the message from bt (jack?) he would go looking for him.

The owner of MRVN could be Jack, but in a previous state ... I explain: In the mission of the campaign "The beacon" after recovering the arc tool and trying to activate the beacon, this failed and must go for a component to replace it, when Jack and BT leave that base and they are under the beacon BT says that there is a fallen pilot who was good in the "Operation fracture" to what Jack says "sound's familiar", then BT explains that it was an operation in which Jack received a commotion and lost important parts of his memory, also that it was one of his first missions as a rifleman. Maybe that Jack before the Operation fracture was the owner of this MRVN, but I don't know if a grunt or a 3rd class rifleman can have a personal MRVN.

Jack Cooper owned MRVN when he became this VIP Pilot in the ending of campaign and went back in time. That's when he owned MRVN and got lost/ died and MRVN was left with no owner

Titanfall 1 was released on 11th march 2014. Until marvins last order was given, 8 days passed from launch and the 8th campaign mission is demeter. That would point towards MacAllen, but he is neither an alcoholic nor 5'7". My guess would be a simulacrum. They didnt exist in TF1, but the regeneration did, wich means backups of humans were made rather often. The "owner" might be a simulacrum by now and cant give marvin commands anymore, since he doesnt recognize him as his owner.

After the campaign, jack cooper goes through the wreckage of typohn, and finds a Marvin unit floating around, it's the one he stole the arc tool from. Returning it the Marvin is so happy, he becomes jack's personal unit.

It could very well be cooper because I believe it was in the beacon mission that BT said that cooper lost most of his memories in some refueling mission, which could probably alter his personality

It has to be Cooper. Lastimosa says "you've suffered minor brain damage and memory loss at Demeter". Could it be possible that Cooper did invent MRVN in his past? Also Typhon exploded massively. It's impossible for Multiplayer to take place after the Campaign. Could Multiplayer been talking place during when Cooper and BT-7274 were captured or when Captain Lastimosa knocked Cooper out with a stimulant? Or in between those two events? Again maybe the Ark alternated time and space when they were at the Ark testing facility. Cooper alternated​ the past by killing a few guards making him wanted past. And then to the present in multiplayer you can see that Jack Cooper and other militia members are wanted on a billboard. Typhon exploded vigorously making it impossible for any multiplayer battles on it. Unless some how they're playing on the fragments left in space with no atmosphere or gravity. Like if this makes sense because it certainly does to me.

To prove Jack Cooper is the owner, I need to prove the following: 1. Jack Cooper can have access to his own M.R.V.N unit. 2. Jack Cooper has disappeared for ~ 4 years. 3. The relevance of March 2014 Aight, here we go. Trial by Fire; Sarah Briggs: You've earned your pilot certification in my eyes, pilot ~ not exact but close enough. What we can draw from this is that Jack Cooper, in the Militia's eyes, is a pilot, and has reached a rank high enough to get his own M.R.V.N unit. Note: I got really off guard after proving the first one because it was so easy, but #2 is proving a little harder than expected. Next, how can we prove Jack Cooper disappeared? Well, when learning about the Monarch titan, Respawn says "The Monarch titan was reverse engineered by the IMC from the burnt remains of 2 Vanguard Class Titans." As we know, BT died twice. Once in a ship, and once dying to a nuclear explosion. The first Vanguard might be a nod towards BT. If so, what is the second? At the end of the campaign, Jack Cooper says "they say I'm going to get a new titan." If Cooper was so good with the first Vanguard titan, why would they not give him a new one? If he did indeed get a new vanguard titan, it is possible that the second remains that Respawn mentions is just that, the remains of the second (or third) Vanguard class titan given to Jack Cooper. if his titan was destroyed in battle, it is perfectly possible that he died in battle with it. TL;DR, Cooper gets a new titan after the campaign, and dies in battle with it, meaning he disappeared for 4 years. What's the relevance of March 2014? Simple, its when rumors began of Titanfall 2. Why would that matter? When Titanfall 2 was tested is the day multiplayer began. If multiplayer began on that day, and the campaign takes place before the Multiplayer, then Cooper died that day with his vanguard class titan.
