Droz and Davis are the equivalent of the guys who sit at base and drink coffee and hoop and holler when you win a fight

Davis and Droz left the 6-4 provisionally because they volunteered to form a special mission unit for the Militia. This unit - the Last Resort - defends the Frontier's civilian-owned harvester network. The harvesters tap into deep-crust thermal pockets to generate power. Normally, these harvesters generate power for the settlement to which they are adjacent, however they can also broadcast power in a beam to an orbiting starship. Militia-friendly settlements allow them to use their harvesters to power manufacturing ships (for constructing weapons and Titans) and repair vessels (for repairing fleet ships). The harvester beam's energy signature lights up every sensor across that hemisphere of the planet, and the IMC always tries to shut down the harvesters to impair Militia operations. The Last Resort puts boots on the ground fast to defend the harvesters while they're in use, relying on small elite teams of Pilots with Titans because of their greater mobility instead of larger groups of infantry and armor. Davis and Droz now spend their days ferrying these Frontier Defense teams to their deployment areas and running tactical while they're on the ground. The money comes from the Last Resort's requisition fund from the Militia, distributed to the Pilots based on performance to purchase weapons and upgrades to assist in their defense.

I'd like to think that they didn't leave the 6-4 I honestly think that the last resort is just a new branch of the already existing faction and not entirely separate.

I always thought of Frontier Defense as a simulation Davis and Droz were using to test pilots before hiring them. A four man squad could test a small fireteam's proficiency in difficult situations as well as figuring out who works best with whom. Not allowing titan switching could test a pilot's proficiency with that specific titan in situations where the pilot may only get one titan. Having an armory system rather than just giving the pilots equipment means that pilots have to earn the perks which encourages better performance.

Also when you complete the frontier defence mission, in one of the voice lines where David and Droz celebrates your victory, you could hear clapping in the background which means there's other pilots or grunts from the malitia or they're just mercenaries that David and Droz hired.

Just realised that the harvester from apex is literally just a HUGE VERSION of this. So the harvester literally goes to the core of the earth?

Fun fact! Davis and drozs names where originally from titanfall 1, if you play the campaign mission the three towers and start on the militia side the two friendly titans will be named captain Davis and captain droz. I just thought that was interesting

*I think Davis and Droz's Last resort is either:* -A seperate branch of the 6-4 that focuses in getting supplies for the Militia (And possibly give a share to the 6-4 as well) to support the fight against the IMC after the Battle of Typhon *Or* -A division that works with the Militia to train new pilots since during the time of TF2 the Militia has grown larger and is getting hoardes of new Pilots and footsoldiers to help their cause and it's at the point training opportunities are spread thin, so they come to the 6-4 (Who is full of experienced pilots) to train the new batches of recruits.

What I thought Frontier defense was all about is this... So basically the remnant fleet has a lot of data just like in bounty hunt and they're doing the same thing as bounty hunt but like you said on a budget, so the Harvester collects minerals from the ground and data from The Remnant Fleet and sends it up to a Mothership, then if Sarah Briggs approves of the data, she will pay The Last Resort. also I'm a big fan of your KZfaq channel and I love your theories thx

What about Titanfall Assault? DO IT PLZ My own theory: It takes place between TF1 and TF2. Like you said, Scorch and Ronin were the first second gen titans. Titanfall Assault has Scorch and Ronin, but no Tone, Legion, or Northstar. However, it does have Ion.

Titanfall 2 has such an interesting world. Great lore too. I really wish Respawn would take more advantage of the Golden Goose theyve got and really expand this game story wise. Maybe they will once TF3 rolls around

I have been in Spain on holidays and have done nothing but wait to get home and play titanfall 2 but I just keep watching your videos and my urge keeps getting stronger so I probably should stop watching the videos until I’m home.

In frontier defense, I remember that the enemy were called the renement fleet. And that the IMC robot in Titanfall 1 went rogue and started attacking both militia and IMC so the enemy is the renement fleet. If the renement fleet is attacking both militia and IMC, wouldn't that make them work together and attack him? Sorta, I believe that the Last Resort is actually the countermeasure for the renement fleet, the haverster rss is sold to either side.

Davis and Droz are probably just operating TLR as a sort of third party faction. Similar to the relationship between Activision and its developer studios except a little less intertwined. The 6-4 was given contracts from the Militia for resource extraction. The 6-4 didn't have time for that so they gave the job to only a couple of their members. In exchange for a group to call their own, a presumably a larger paycheck, and supplies to run the operation (however underfunded), they extract resources for the 6-4 so they can fill their contracts. The 6-4 get a lot of cash, expend none of their own manpower, and can still kill the bad guys. Also who would love to see Gates make an appearance in the campaign of Titanfall 3? We don't know it's coming, but we know it's coming and there's no single player DLC for Titanfall 2 either, so our best option is Titanfall 3.

Another theory with Davis and Droz, is in the campain when they zipline onto the ship, (forgot the name of it) Davis has the helmet with the 4 small dots, and Droz has the helmet with the solid beams, however when you jump out of the ship in Frontier defence, their helmets switched.

My theory is this... Blackwater... Droz & Davis were two highly skilled pilots. Getting Gov/Mil Paychecks from the Militia at some point they realized that contract work could be much more profitable the end. They only allow one type of titan as it allows them to purchase titans in bulk and so at a lower cost per Titan vs having to carry every kind of titan and meaning lower numbers and higher prices per titan. The on field purchases are exactly as you outlined by showing each pilot how much they earned per kill they just deduct the purchases from the per kill profits. This allows them to keep costs down and get the biggest benefit from their Militia contracts.

The theory of the frontier defence is because with the titans and reapers and grunts (not so sure about grunts) is that the parts they get from the titans and the reapers is that they are slowly building a new titan and they needed the parts so they left the 6-4 and made the last resort to assist Hammond robotics of building a new titan (as we see at the end of the campaign there is a vanguard titan being built that is a possible it might come after u finish the titanfall 3 story mission but I can give u a sneak peak of what he is) the titan is a vanguard scout more like ronin less like Northstar and monarch it’s a light weight chassis with a free smart pistol in the SERE kit which u can pull out (campaign only☹️) but the name of the titan will be striker. Hope this was helpful the only way I know somethings is because my uncle works at Respawn Entertainment

I like to think the 6-4 split up shortly after the ARK incident due to the IMC taking such a major blow and there not being a need for anything past small security forces. You listen carefully, what you fight are remnant forces of the IMC, not the IMC in itself. You also notice there are very few grunts you fight. Most of what you fight is straight robotic forces and not grunts. Yes, there are grunts though. One is also a training site and not an actual battleground. That's why I think that, anyway.

This makes so much since eeason season4 of apex. The harvester on worlds edge is use to havest valuable resources from the plant. This is like that but on a much smaller scale

Maybe gates asked the two pilots Droz and Davis to do project last resort to help gather resources and why only 4 people help is because they are low on money (as teacup said) but as i think that frontier defense is apart to the campaign due to why you can only use one titan at a time. And I also think that they still work for the 64 but gates just told them to help get them money and gather recourses to make new Titans, help the Militla grow faster to make a safe economy for the frontier.

You are only allowed one titan because of the aegis rank system. Then it’s easier to disperse the points for the titan.

I feel like David and Droz are selling the materials and keeping ones they can make, Rare titan parts out of to upgrade their mercs and make them more money, of course the mercs (you and your teamates) are getting a share of the money. (And you're probably getting most of it because you did all the work)

I don't know if you said this but I believe you don't get hard cash, you get credit, as you kill enemies your HUD traces it and displayed it on your HUD

i have a theory the militia isnt rich and they can afford to give any pilot a titan at choice but theu cant afford better parts because they need to suply with titans a lot of people but in the last resort there are just 4 pilots and they cant have more than that so they only need to suply 4 titans and bring attacked by so many enemies it is better that they give them one super powerful titan per each of them than stock titans at choice

hopefully in titan fall three you can make your northstar to stay flying for a long time and to customize your pilot

The money is real money that they get by working on the harvester and that’s how they can literaly afford the boosts

Davis and Droz probably realised there was a market for resources, so The last resort just bought a few harvesters, hired some pilots (the gameplay probably doesn't reflect what frontier defence is like in the lore), and sold their produce to the militia, probably. The remnant fleet attacks the harvesters all the time, because they need resources themselves, and a harvester could be useful.

I just thought that the 6-4 disbanded and they were the only ones left, that would explain why they're called The last resort and why they aren't a multiplayer faction. there could've been some time that passed between multiplayer and frontier defense, if there was a timeline

The flying tea cup this is for one of your older vids but I want to bring it to your attention if you walk to the back of one of the rooms in the second mission (sewer level) you will hear a grunt (on the radio) tell Kane that there's a vanguard class titan and that he thinks its SRS Kane the replies all vanguard class titans are SRS

I think that they are still apart of the 6 4but they found out the mix was going to destroy planets and the harvester is a shield protecting the planet and Davis and droz were sent on a mission to stop the imc from doing it

my theory on only having one titan is that that titan is yours as in the one you bought or where assigned when you joined the last resort and that when our can pick your titan at the start of the game its just part of the game and is not part of the lore

I was always wondering how titans work, because BT talks and acts like human and other titans just inform pilot about whats happening around them. Why Multiplayer titans act similliar to the BT? Could you make theory about that?
