Welcome back to Football Daily.
It’s incredibly rare for a manager to totally change the way they view football, and it almost never happens at the very top of the game. However, a number of top coaches have changed and adapted their styles over the years, to varying degrees of success.
Let’s take a look at 5 of the best in our latest video...
#Chelsea #ManUtd #Liverpool

You’re confusing philosophy with tactics. Tuchel’s philosophy has remained relatively the same (e.g., jdp principles combined with gegenpressing), just as Guardiola’s has despite variations in his formations at his respective clubs.

Several managers named here didn't really change their philosophy. Changing formations doesn't necessarily equate to changing the philosophical principles they play by... they adapt based on personnel within the squad and various strengths. That's what managers do... they find ways to win, often times tweaking instead of outright changing. Interesting content still

Loved this video keep up the good work lads Now 3 at the back becoming more popular among top teams like Chelsea, Atletico, Juve,Barca(from the last month),inter,bvb, Leipzig,Lazio,Roma and real madrid in their match against Atalanta . Please do a video about why teams using 3 at the back (I think it gives more stability in defense)
@marcoverratti6269
@marcoverratti6269 3 жыл бұрын
It is becoming popular and I noticed it expanded outside of italy (where practically every team uses it) I believe it’s because in the past, it had connotations of being a defensive, or “boring” formation, when actually it can be quite the opposite. For example inter have scored 65 goals in 27 games, and the reason being is that the solid back 3 really hold down the defense, while everyone else attacks/counters. When effective, it can be one of the best formations lol. So basically, when on the attack, u have 7 players, while ur center backs shut down a potential counter. And when defending, u have 8 behind the ball, with an extra center back… But when there’s no creativity, spaces can be scarce and that’s when u get a boring, dead play style. So really it’s essential u have the players for it, but if you do, the formation is very versatile and can be used in various play styles
@rishi857
@rishi857 3 жыл бұрын
@@marcoverratti6269 I think Man utd can easily implement that formation. They have shaw who can play at LCB also they they have Telles at LB also they have two most creative Midfielders in Pogba and Bruno and the fastest front three in Europe containing Rashford,Martial,James,Greenwood whom we know are very lethal in counter attack.

I see you aren't very informed when it comes to football. In chelsea 14/15 his philosophy was possesion based and winning the ball back quickly with high press and a high block. He said that in an interview, they won the league. Real scored 121 goals in a season with him, more than peps barca. So don't speak if you don't know anything about the matter.
