Bro, these guys watch the match through colored lenses, only seeing what their player is doing and not how the whole team is playing. You need to cut this bias shit out if you want the team to progress. Go watch the match stat and look at how much ball was played through the left. It was less than 3 %. And you chatting about how Foden was bad. Him and Kane never had any service, how the hell are they supposed to perform? Bellingham was dropping deep getting the ball and everywhere passing and asking it back like a main character syndrome. Nobody in the midfield was breaking the line with the passes. Trent is not suitable for this role. He can't receive the ball in half turn and can't defend. Don't know how you guys can say he did well. It's just stupid.

Southgate is shit but so was Foden. The issue we have as fans is we latch on to the same 3 or 4 people to blame. Today all of them were shit including Saka and Bellingham who only had a good 30 minutes each. Rice was probably the best over 90 minutes.

What's with the Foden hate, y'all should be proud to have him as England fans. You can't tell a midfielder to play the false winger role. And yes saka played as a LB but he never thrived there now look he thrives on the right. The fact that people think he'll make a big impact on the left marvels me And regarding Kane yes he wasn't great but the team didn't play to his strengths, the same goes with foden and Trent. Trent can't play with his back to the opposition goal, he's not exactly press resistance Just play to everyone's strengths and the team will thrive. England fans are the only ones I've seen that let team bias get in tge way of the country's success. look at Germany and French fans, they don't complain or agrue😂Germany, they made wirts and Musiala thrive by playing to their strengths

People said Musiala was better than Bellingham and Foden better than Saka and Bellingham but Bellingham and Saka cooked Serbia's backline while Foden watched. Again Saka out of this world when playing more central, he works best being able to run down the middle. Bellingham as well just pulling apart Serbia's midfield and what makes him even better is in the second half he was able to do the defensive work. He is the best player in the world

Honestly don’t know what you were watching. Bellingham stunk the place out! He was chasing around his first touch the entire game! What chances did he create? Sakas final ball was horrendous. Bowen came in and created more chances in 10 minutes than Saka did in the entire game.

@@user-Merovingian1980 he wasn't crap in this game. he was 2nd best player, close behind bellingham. almost all of the creativity and chances that england got in the 1st half came through him - the goal, the pass to sprinting walker and 3 crosses perfectly placed in the box but kane and foden were invisible to do a tap in. also, saka was actually injured because arteta is an ass as he makes saka play most of the games and does not even sub him even when arsenal is winning the game. he missed last game of the epl and a couple of warm up games.

If that was Gordon instead of Foden, Saka would have had 2 assists. That cross that was just behind Foden would have been scored by a touchline winger since they would have started further back.

@@vkdeen7570 Foden is a Pep merchant. Put him in any other team and he is cheeks. That is why I say he is not better than Saka. Saka performed under Emery , Ljunberg and currently Arteta. He performs under Southgate. He performs well wherever he has been put to play under multiple managers. He performs well while having injuries can Foden do that?

@@jordandavis3867 Foden's issue is Pep Guardiola made him into the perfect Pep Guardiola player. He isn't a 10 but he isn't a winger, he's kinda a bit of both. I reckon the closest you could get to Foden under Guardiola is as a false 9 or maybe a left 8 but the issue there is he doesn't have the defensive workrate. I've always said talent Foden's arguably England's best player and I will not argue that but actually who's the better footballer I will always go Saka. Every time he plays in a new competition he blows it away. Euro 20, 19 years old and one of England's best players in the competition. WC 22, opening game at 21 scores a brace, best player on the pitch against France as well. Then UCL last September on his debut scores in 7 minutes, Arsenal's first goal in the UCL in 7 years, he then backs that up with an assist a few minutes later, in that competition he also broke records, one him becoming only one of three to score and assist in 3 consecutive UCL home games, alongside Suarez and Benzema. You then look yesterday and how he just dominated Serbia in that first half even getting a deflected assist, if England didn't lose control in the game Saka would've scored. This man's consistency is incredible for a 22 year old, never once had a dip in his career, even when suffering with an injury. Foden's amazing and I've always thought that but his lack of consistency is worrying and the fact he struggles outside of Guardiola's football. Saka's proven he can do any position and any role the manager wants, Foden can only do one role in one team.

I'm not English but the team looked terribly imbalanced. Tripper and Foden offered no threat on the left. Trent was not given any possession in the 2nd half to create. Kane offered no threat in behind and didn’t give any outlet. A more natural CM, Eze or Gordon on the left would have made a difference.

People need to stop comparing Bellingham & Musiala. Both young talents but two different types of player. Stylistically, Jude is the type to control traffic (so to speak), box to box dynamism. Musiala is more of a jinky player, that will slalom past 3 players.

englands issue with going ahead is we're incapable of keeping posession and slowing the game down to go again. Pickford pumps it long constantly and even if we win the first ball the team is stretched and gets countered. Even trent did the same a few times. Top teams go ahead, keep posession and then go for a second. Its not the 90s anymore we have players capable of keeping the ball so build from the back

Opening 30 minutes looked like a group of great players... thst had just met each other. Foden should play at 10. Jude to move deeper into midfield. Harry should not play so deep.

Worst match of the Euros so far. And this overrated England team had a part in it. Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands played so much better, more balanced teams, especially on the ball England are horrible. Trent is not a midfielder, just playing long passes doesn‘t qualify you to play in that role. He isn’t press-resistent and can’t play on the half turn. The left side is bad, Foden needs to play in the 10, he would do better than Bellingham. Against stronger teams, you need more creativity in the middle. Jude in the 10 can’t offer that. They lack a controller as well, like Kroos is for Germany, Rice is not that guy. The defence will struggle against better teams, especially Trippier on the left is far off international top level. Overall i would be shocked if they make it past the quarters.

Rice was good for the entire game, Saka and Bellingham were good for 30 minutes. The rest were varying levels of poor and even Saka and Bellingham were poor after 30 minutes.

What are you talking about??? We have watched decent players perform under crap managers every single season. The players are just as much to blame. The manager is shit but in terms of playing for England and base don their ability many of the players have been shit. Foden is awful for England every time he plays yet lesser players have been better. Stop scapegoating its fans like you who are the problem. Saka wasn't brilliant, the cross was lucky, he was ok first half abysmal second half. Motm imo was Guehi. Bellingham wasn't brilliant but got the winner. Foden was shit, Trent was shit, Rice was average. It's funny how we see the same game differently. This is against Serbia guys.

Bellingham was by far England's best player today. saka had a good first half but faded away badly in the 2nd. kane and foden were pretty much anonymous the whole game and in truth if it wasn't for their name in merit of performance recently they wouldn't start. taa is not a cm and it shows he had good moments in the opening 25 mins but mostly when he drifted to rm and floats ball over and through for saka. his lack positional awareness saw him twice lose the ball in dangerous positions and England were lucky not to concede from them. he needs to play rb or not at all. England were pretty decent for 25-30 mins but then it just became a typical Southgate performance. dull negative passive with slow game management and poor subs overall. England will struggle to win the tournament, sadly, with more of these Southgate efforts. its a shame because England have the talent to win this
