I remember being in Macys in late 2010 and passing the fragrance counter and being completely intrigued by the marketing for Bleu. I took a sniff off a card and bought it on the spot. I had never smelled anything like it before. Up until that point I had been wearing Axe body spray and stealing some of my dad’s CK Obsession when I wanted to smell fancy for the girls. Bleu de Chanel completely transformed my belief in what a “cologne” could smell like. I became obsessed with finding out more and more and now, 14 years and over 1000 bottles later, I still look back at that day and that fragrance as what started it all for me. And I still wear Bleu to this day quite frequently.

This is classic Fragrance Apprentice. It’s why George is the best. Thoroughly researched, well-written and presented. George is an educator at heart. Loved it.

I’ve been watching KZfaq fragrance videos since 2009 and rarely comment, but this one deserved it for sure! I thoroughly enjoyed the historical viewpoint and evolution to where we are today in Fragcom. You’ve come a long way from doing reviews of Kenneth Cole black while in the dark my friend.
