In this video we visited kings forest adults only caravan park on wideham farm , west stow , in suffolk , a huge , spacious and open site with decent facilities , excellent forest walks and various trails , only 15 minutes drive to the historic town of bury st Edmunds and a 10 minute drive to mildenhall
The site has an alternative non EHU field
We paid £44 for 2 nights in September with EHU and 3 dogs on a grass pitch ( Free draining light sand soil ) However , I did pay an extra £5 to stay on later
Wifi good ✅
Just Across the road is west suffolk anglo saxon village with museum , a superb day out with even more walk and trails , if you like your history I definitely recommend this place

Nice to see its got grass. The year we went was when noone had had rain, in was the 80s temp, very hot and very sandy

Also a lovely river on one of the walks, the cafe did nice coffee, and the museum was great at the anglo saxon village

Yes the cafe is nice in the museum jan nice tea and cake there , we were told the pitches are sand based to help drain water if it rained a lot as the site is level , lovely site and walks we will be visiting again most definitely, thanks for watching the video Happy camping Mike

Looks a good site, thanks for the tour Mike, And wow ! The Stow park was great, I think we owe you £5. 40 for the visit . This is one of your best videos,regardless of wind . Thanks for my armchair visit.love your three dogs ,I have said before my daughter has a Staffie called Rosie( same colour and age) . Really enjoy your trips . Ooooh no trip on the e.t bike. A checkout time of 2pm at the caravan park, wish more sites were like that, especially if you a are close to home. Nice to see around the anglo saxon site. 👍 Graeme

Campsite looks really nice and a great price, like the idea of the Saxon village across from the site, something maybe we can add onto our list of places to go in the future. Was the Cafe open lol

Yeah I’d say well worth a visit if you like your history , only about 8 miles from where you stayed at raf mildenhall that time , I think Kev will be able to get some really good drone shots in the forest 👍 thanks for watching and commenting Mike

Thats not fair blaming noises on the poor dogs, I was amazed at how much filming you achieved on what was pretty aweful weekend of weather. Excellent video, take care and stay safe.

A least you didn't have to get on your bike for the F&C LOL, site looks nice not far from me could link that in with a overnight stay in the center of Bury St. Edmunds !
