In previous chapters, we discussed our 8-senses, learned about sensory processing and self-regulation. We looked at sensory challenges and spoke about implementing a variety of sensory tools in the classroom and on the go.
In this video, we’ll discuss the concept of our customized sensory rooms. These rooms can provide a total immersion experience in a sensory environment. They can be calming
or alerting and one can engage all the senses at once using whole-body involvement.
We’ll discuss what elements to include in a sensory space.
