When you tell yourself that procrastination is okay because you're learning then realise you've not done any work for about 3 hours... I only stumbled across this channel a week or so ago and I can't stop watching. The only youtube channel where I can sit for more than 10 minutes (usually an hour or more) and be fully engaged the whole time. Great content and very valuable information, love what you are doing here.

Can't really tell. I have question but its more about before the 1st meeting. How do you introduce your services to potential customers. Not necessarily cold leads but to people that know who you are but are not aware of the services you offer. I have potential customers that in my local market that I worked with before but with another company (printing). I want to introduce them to my services of strategy, branding, websites design, social media marketing and managing ,print colateral as well as SEO and digital marketing. A lot the role playing you do is when the client contacts you. What is the best way to contact potential customers and offer these services without sounding too "pitchy"?

so when you uncover the business goals in the first meeting, then when you go to the strategy session you repeat the goals we are going to solve in the priortize goals exercise?
@thefutur
@thefutur 7 жыл бұрын
the first meeting goal is to get a sense of the problem (not to solve it) and to establish your value. the second meeting (you charge money for) and do full blown discovery. appetizer vs. main course. hope that helps Mario.
@jonathandilin5301
@jonathandilin5301 6 жыл бұрын
I noticed you said, you typically charge for the Strategy, which is great. Is Strategy & Discovery at the same time or separate? Example • 1: Lead/Cold Call/Lets work together (Free, 5-10 minutes) 2: Discover($$$) 3. Strategy($$$) 4: Design($$$) Etc. or is discovery free was well? It looks like in this model the discovery is not free and you charge for this along with the strategy, but I feel that would be hard breaking into that market initially.
@thefutur
@thefutur 6 жыл бұрын
strategy/discovery are the same thing. we should be clearer when we explain this. at each phase of the client interaction, try to create value to the client. then try to capture a fair percentage of the value you create.
