Go to 3:30 for the Vedic Chant. We recommend that you listen to this chant using headphones or a good sound system for maximum immersion. *NOTE-* 1. There could be certain variations in the chant from 7:09 - 7:30 according to different traditions. We have given the method that is generally followed in Tamil Nadu. 2. About 20:29 - 20:57 - These mantras are from Rig Veda and rendered as per the method followed in Tamil Nadu, India. The Svara marking for these verses follow the Krishna Yajur Veda convention, although when rendering it, it is to be rendered as per Rig Veda rules. Namaskaram. Yes, that is as per Kanwa Shaka of Sukla Yajur Veda. This is from Taitiriya Shaka of Krishna Yajur Veda. Good observation.

I learnt Sri Rudram from my Guru Sri Samudrala Samba Murthy Garu, during my Grade 7. He taught me while making me stand in neck deep water in Godavari during winter. Early mornings. I know the importance of Swara and volume of voice. This recording is the best I have listened to. Today I can chant in the cold weather of -20Deg.C. USA. With same Swara. Pranaamams to the Team Ghanapati.🙏🙏

South Indian Acharyas only revived Sanatana Dharma. 1) Adhi Shankaracharya(Adhvaitam) 2) SriMadhvacharya(Dhvaitam) 3)SriRamanujacharya (Visishtadhvaitam) 4) SriVallabhacharya (Shuddhadvaitam) All four Acharyas from South India only. South contributed more towards Spiritual progression.

I am a Shastry Brahmin. I could still feel my grandfather's voice while listening to this as he used to recite this every single morning during pooja time. Shri Rudram follwed by Purusha Suktam. Now, I really miss him. I want to learn this and recite like him. Let Mahadeva give Strength and Energy to face life to everyone listening to this. Om Namh Shivaya.

@@shikharawat4461 swara is different in north and south India. Also some joined letters are pronounced different. I cannot say which is more appropriate but I like the south Indian recitals. You can find Veda gurus in Banaras in north and Bangalore in south.

This is yajurveda, in North they chant in sama veda with respect to veda tunes of mantra changes, here more are rig vedic and yajur vedic are present.

The Sanatana Dharma has literally nothing at all to do with Hinduism. It is only that the Upanishads explain Sanatana Dharma very very clearly, and these being a part of the religion called as Hindu.

Vedic chant that have 3 ways 1. Upamsu japa(only chant in mind) 2. Mouna japa( chant in low voice by means of lip movement ) 3. Vaighari japa( normal sound also some area has high pitch and low pitch(this is knwn as maatra) like this one is vaighari japa. Vedic chant and mantra japa performed by certain basic rule, like this....

In USA in one of the temple I go to apaswaram is so prevalent, I gave up on Rudram. When I Sri Suresh Rudram chanting it changed my mind to be tranquil. Swamiiji Tattvavidananda recently explained the meaning of Rudram, and his explanations took me directly to Sruti’s universal vision, a step forward from limited smriti explanation. He pointed Rudram is several thousands of years prior to puraanaas. A walk on the beach listening to Suresh jis Rudram and recollecting Vedic meaning immerses you into universal god. Thanks

This is a very powerful mantra taught to me by my father and uncle when I was in 8th standard in 1962-63 and were being persuaded to chant this Mantra during Datta Jayanti saptah at my native place Hangal Very recently in1919 we celebrated 100 years of Datta Jayanti This Mantra will certainly enhance the quality of the orthodox life

@@wildfirexd As we know, these Vedic Mantras are high on energy and vibrations and water is a conductor..so what I did was I sat my bottle of water on the table right in front of my mouth and chanted it, while playing it along for correct pronunciation. I played it on my phone while putting it on the table as well. Doing it daily will show fine changes!

@@wildfirexd I'm more than happy to share! I was troubled with negativity, depression and thoughts of suicide after my father's sudden shocking untimely demise. We were financially and emotionally stranded. Now I can say I'm exactly the opposite of it. Money flows to me and I have no trace of negativity left in me. But main thing is, belief! We must first believe in whatever we are practicing, only then it works!

The Vedic Priest chanting this rudram really have been blessed by Medha Devi🙏 What vibration and perfect chant according to the Vedic meter. This rudram chant took my mind away from my current surroundings to an ancient temple with the Shiva Lingam getting washed with water. My grandfather was Purohit who used to chant this . His Grandson younger than me he has taken that great tradition forward and learnt Vedas in Udupi Pejawar Mutt for 11 years and now RAJA PUROHIT does all HOMAs with utmost dedication and clarity . I am really blessed to here this. Please note Sanathana Dharma is not only temple rituals and doing Aarati which everyone watches and think that is only rituals .These Chants are divine and simply purify from within

Simply love the chanting. Now a days learned priests are not following this kind of chanting. They chant every Monday as a routine but not this way and do fast to complete as soon as possible. I wanted to see this kind of implementation at temples as well. I am sorry to say. Just listening will create positive vibes. Too excellent!!! Three are chanting with inner single voice. I live in USA.
