How is the interior noise/road noise when on the highway? I'm really thinking about a Mustang for daily driving to work, but it's a 20mi highway drive. One thing I hate is highway road noise, and a ride that is too tight and rough in the city.

I have a 2016 V6 and the noise level at highway speeds is pretty mild--almost too mild. Sometimes I yearn for it to be a little throatier like the GT. Now if you put your foot into it, THEN it comes to life and roars a bit--much like a V8.

+BMan100 - only on the Ecoboost and V8 engines. You can run regular in the turbo four and V8 if you want, they'll handle it just fine but for maximum power, as you said, you gotta run premium. The V6, on the other hand, is rated for regular only. Premium gas won't get you anything on the V6 engine.

I know for a fact the computer for the 3.7 keeps advancing the timing till spark knock is detected then backs off a bit. Therefore, the higher the gas grade, the more total timing it can handle. More timing, more power.

Fordfanone - Where I got this shit from was the Mustang's owners manual! The manual lists both the 5.0 V8 and the 2.3 turbo 4-cylinder as requiring premium fuel to achieve the hp and torque specs that Ford publishes for them, "but," they will both perform just fine on regular if you can't find premium or simply don't want to pay the extra money for it, albeit at the cost of a bit of performance. Those engines are tuned to use premium and thus, will benefit from it. The V6, on the other hand, makes its rated hp and torque numbers based on regular fuel only. The owners manual makes absolutely no recommendation for premium fuel on the 3.7 V6 engine in the current generation Mustangs. The ignitions and fuel timing curves programmed in the ECU, along with engine compression ratio specs and such, are designed and setup for the use of regular fuel, not premium. Now, you can certainly put premium in the V6 if you want to. It's not going to hurt a thing and I promise you, the gas companies will be thanking you all the way to the bank, but it's not going to make a significant difference in performance because the current Mustang V6's are not tuned to use it!

I bought 19" wheels for my Mustang V-6 on Craigslist. They came off a 2017 Mustang GT with a pony package. I purchased the wheels for $75 a piece. I found out that 19" tires aren't discounted as much as 17" or 18."

I just got my GT also and I read the same thing. I'm thinking it will run fine on 87 octane but you won't get the advertised 435 horsepower. You'll have to use 93 to get the horsepower. Enjoy your GT man!

It runs 87. NO manual will EVER tell you to run "only" 87. It may say 87 "recommended" or 87 "required" in which case it means, run at least 87. Being a non-force induction engine, it will eat 87 fine, and you'll do great with it, but if you wanna burn a little better, have less sludge, and get a little extra power, make sure you're buying 93 from a Top Tier classification fuel pump. If you're just driving around town and don't mind the carbon build-up in the long term life of the engine, you're fine running 87 day in and day out, still recommend purchasing from a Top Tier station however.

What I read in the owners manual, 87 octane is the minimum required for all the engines offered in the 2015+ Mustangs. If you want maximum performance out of the Ecoboost or V8, then you've got to run premium but it made no such statement about the V6.

I have the 2015 V6. And yes the remote start will turn on the ac, but not at full blast. Also depends on your settings. There are 2 options to set it at current temp. Settings or the other I can't remember.

Exactly. They are beautiful and I love it haha. Those black Ecoboost/GT rims are also pretty sweet but these are more muscle looking. But the normal Ecoboost/GT rims are kinda meh.
