I owned a 1970 CB350. Bought it in 1976. I was 14 and I had the fastest bike of my friends. I love the sound as you drove it down the street. So many memories.

I (my first bike) owned a 1969 (red and white tank) CL-350 with raised 'off road' pipes. That was sort of a joke model, in that nothing but the raised pipes at 45 degrees was changed on the model, from the CB (full road). Not really an off-road version at all. I loved that bike...and put many thousand miles (I got my license on that bike) on her. Solid, and dependable, she was...

That's the Honda 350 I had in about 1980. Got it for $200 from my brother in law. He was trying to tune it up and dropped a point screw in one of the cylinder holes and thought he seized it up. I took the chance, gave him $200 and got the screw out with a magnet. Nice little motorcycle. Much better days in the USA. Life was simple.

Thank's especially for the over the handle bar view. Had a new one while serving in the 82nd Abn.. It hauled my 6'-2" 220lb. ass at over 85 mph. It met it's demise when i T-boned a Gran Torino as he was making a left un-signaled turn. The 8"extended forks were on one side of the intersection and the Torino's left front hubcap was under my rear tire wherein turn the frame was stuck to the left front fender. The helmet shift from impact with ground, tore my right ear half way off, but was sewn back. Good thing i was a Paratrooper @ the time... for it would have killed a normal man, LOL -Former Recondo Sgt. "Rock" 1/504 71-74

Great video. Please let me explain why! Where live (Denmark), you can drive a 50cc moped when you are 16 years old.They are restricted to 19mph. and since I did not grow up in a city, some of us took the chance and bought a moped when we was 13! It was freedom. I would drive around whit my friends and we often camped all sorts of places, we were slow but we had the wind and the morning fog in our faces. When we turned 16 we removed the restrictions and even tuned them, mine could top 68mph, still not fast but we got around, but I realized then, the thing about going faster and making wheelies is you never get enough, you want to go even faster, and do even crazier. Now I am 24 years old, and have ben old enough for both MC and Car license since I was 18, back then I started with the car license in order to be more suitable for jobs, and now I finally got the time and money to acquire one fore mc.The way you made this video seems so simple, by taking it slowly, no voice over. driving It with respect. One can almost feel the breeze. You captured the feeling of my dreams, what I want to do when I get the license. Take my time, respect an old bike and the history along with it. Many of my friends drive more or less new bikes,they sometimes seem to be in a rush, I am not sure they understand why I bought a Classic.i just want to BRAKE FREE from my always reliabel BOX of WVThis time I am not in a hurry, and taking no chances of driving it before the license is complete (during this week). Sorry for bad grammar and Dyslexic

Way back in the day, when Disney World was just born in Orlando, I was lucky enough to own one of these, but in blue/white. I've had lots of bikes, up to a 1500 Suz Intruder, but this Honda is still my favorite one of all.

Rode an identical bike for many years and put many thousands of miles on it. All over Southern and Northern California. Since then I've rode many big Hondas and big BMWs but, of them all, I think I'd like to ride my old 350 again.

Where is this bike? It is identical to my first bike except that mine had a rear luggage rack on it. I sold it (practically gave it away) to a friend in PA when I left to join the Navy in '88 and I never saw it again :-(

@TheGrahamProductions9 жыл бұрын
Yes- in fact I sold this to someone as their first bike. Fairly easy to ride, but still has a healthy amount of power on tap. The only downside is you have to either pay someone to maintain the bike or do it yourself.

Wow thats a well running machine. Do you have the choke closed on cold start? How many turns are your idle mixture screws at? Just bought a 72' cb350 and am trying to set up the carbs. This certainly would be the goal!
@SinnerSince19622 жыл бұрын
Start carb Idle screws at 1-1/8 and adjust slightly +/- for best idle. That is, if you have the 722a carbs.

The Engine has a Miss, A very bad knock, and the cam chain is too loose.
@robertbrandywine5 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by knock, and what causes that.
@chargerman1005 жыл бұрын
@@robertbrandywine disagree. Runs great just valve lash tic. Easy to adjust. By ear pull off chrome cover on side tach cable goes on and left side for points. Loosen 12mm nut, turn slotted screw until tic gets quiet, back off a hair or do it correct via U tube adjust valves video.
