A good tactic to break them down is to pack your midfield, then send in as many possible crosses from both wings. You should be able to retain the ball from clearances thanks to the extra midfielders or at least win corners.

Happens to me all the time , 95 pace and I can have like 80% stamina left at the end of a game and a hefty slow as defender will somehow catch up to me and shove me out the way when I have every advantage lmfao

@Marcelo V8 I had this same question because I use R1 to run. FIFA has many controller configurations like classic, alternate, custom, two button and one button. I think in this case R2 plus left analog stick will work

If you play a 4-3-3 or any formation that is a version of it(like 4-2-3-1), you can follow this. Best way of keeping the ball and passing your way towards the opponent is possession game with a decent width and not trying to get into the box with too many players. If you use your central mid as a third centre back when you have the ball, push your wingbacks upfront in instructions screen, you shall have a lot of space, most teams use on striker and two wingers, or two strikers etc. It's very hard to put numerical supreriority when three players aback with the ball. With wingers allowing you width, most likely you can just pass the ball around with five players, and if he presses with three players, it will mean you can always trigger a run with one of the three at the back to exploit space, or you can link up passes with your wingbacks to centre midfielders or attacking midfielders. Using wingbacks as inverted help you a lot too, you can make the join the attack and keep your wingers a bit wide, thus you will have an extreme numerical supreriority when moving forward from the back, keeping wing backs inside the half spaces and closer to the midfield will have a 3-4-3 sort of build-up shape. And then your CDM will keep up when the ball gets to the opponents half and push up as a passing station, then you'll be like 2-3-2-3 sort of a formation. With central or attacking midfielders constantly running into the spaces between opponents defensive lines. Or, if the opponent is not that good with pressure, and tries to cover high up, or makes a lot of mistakes, keep your wingbacks wide, your wingers cutting insides, choose long ball attacking, keep it a bit wide, about half a bar, use your CDM with ''Stay back while attacking'' and ''Cover Centre', and only one of your other midfielders with push up and wide players running behind the line if you have good long passers. You can choose balanced attack with more cautious passing, balanced attack is more direct then possession game, but is not as quick as long ball. This all depends on the types of defenders and defencive midfielders in your team. Keep three different gameplans always active, and make variations on the same formation with these types of instructions to alter the gameplan when the match is on.

When playing swaps 3 of ur teams and ur opponent's players change and the ones that get traded wear that outfit because when a traded player scores it counts as 2 goals

A good solution to avoid massive press and as i know many pro players do is immediately close fifa 20 and shutdown ps4 and go outside and have real fun without press and stress

Keep your team wide and don't have your players immedaitely run forward, numerical supriority around the ball is key, so if you can't go through pressure with long balls, don't allow the opponent to have you cornered. And learn advanced passing methods, like L1+square sending a driven lob pass. Awesome at finding wingers There is no way to press an opponent without leaving spaces at your back, try to exploit those and lure the opponent with possessing the ball. Never, ever try to attack and pass to the opponent's goal constantly. Never force your way out of pressure, because easy ball losses in build up mean your entire defencive structuer being broken down as well.

You're using directional buttons to move your players. That's the reason.

M Bayrak but that’s not right, I believe we all have options to either use the directional button or the L stick to move players, with that everything should be. Consistent.
