I'm a Red Wings fan first and foremost but these playoffs have been an absolute treat to watch. I really enjoyed cheering for the Blues this round. Since I've become a fan of multiple teams it has become really satisfying to cheer for other teams and see their fan bases enjoy some big wins. I couldn't be happier for Blues fans! It's great to see a long drought finally overcome. The finals should be a great series!

First off, congratulations to the STL Blues! Way to fight from the start of the season to now. Finish the job unlike what the sharks had in front of them in 2016. For the Sharks... sigh. Sad and disappointing but, expected. We've been at this for 20 years or so of regular playoff appearances with the rug pulled right underneath us in the spring. It is time to blow this mofo team up. We have no farm system with recent big trades. We went all in and the dealer won. So much star power for this team. The basement of the league is calling and the sooner the better. I was out in Vegas for game 1 (Vegas fan) I told my dad the way the Blues win the series was Binnington and I told him it was going to go to game 6 or 7. Congrats to the Blues very impressive performance since January for the Blues and I’m also from Chicago and I’m a Hawks fan too. I know the whole rivalry thing but it was and is an impressive performance by the Blues.

As a Sharks fan, Blues you earned this series and I gained mad respect for your team this season. Clean hard hits throughout and great handling/forechecking. Sharks are now a beat up team that’s going to have to take a deep introspective look to move forward, shaky future and team rebuild yes. Hopeful, yes. We will have our day, but not for a few years.

I’m 45 and I remember the Blues going to the playoffs every year during my high school years in the 80’s and my college years in the 90’s. I was starting to get a Cubs mentality about the Blues. The Cardinals kept the city going for years. Now, the damn near impossible has happened. Only problem is the St. Louis hasn’t beat Boston in anything in over 50 years. I’d feel better if Bob Gibson was on the bench.

Always great analysis by The Hockey Guy. You should pull for us Blues in the Cup Finals, though. We have 19 Canadians on our roster!! Boston only has 4!

Great to see one of the teams that I cheer for get into the Finals! I can't say one bad thing about San Jose. When the hand pass happened even on here, not one rude comment from a Sharks fan. Are there exceptions, absolutely. There is good and bad in all groups of people. However of those who left a comment that I read, every one of them were at least civil! I respect those fans. It's rare to have that happen. Sharks fought hard and somehow the Blues came out on top. Great season for San Jose, Go Blues in the Stanley Cup Finals! Here's to the young lady with the terminal disease that she is fighting who is from Saint Louis and the team invited her to the game which is her ultimate wish! Classy move by the Blues.

I shed my first happy tears for the Blues tonight after 24 years of watching the Blues. I think we exercised a lot of demons by finally winning the West. I’ve seen so many good hockey teams scratch and claw against dynasties and have to skate away as part of some other team’s triumph. It feels good to see the Blues writing a story where they’re the focus.

Blues will win the cup. The Hockey Gods want the Leafs to be the SOLE owner of the "Most Years With No Cup" title. EDIT - (Most Consecutive Years Leading Up To The Current Season With No Stanley Cup Championship)

I was born in 1975. Got interested in hockey in the late ‘80’s/early’90’s. I have LITERALLY, absolutely NO hyperbole, been waiting my entire life, for MY team to have a chance to get the cup...and here it is. And now, pessimistic as I can be, I feel like my team could CRUSH THE WORLD! (Yeah, there’s a bit of hyperbole there, but DAMN! I’M PUMPED!) And I’ve got to say...you look awful good in that Blues jersey! I have never waited up to see an upload...until tonight! Thanks Hockey Guy! I may even have to watch this one twice! And now for a bit of observation/superstition: all the “sweeps” in this playoffs have come from the Eastern conference. And all the teams who have “swept” a team have lost...in the next round (I think). Would not mind seeing that trend continue at all!

My GRANDFATHER was 17 years old the last time we went to the cup. My father, wasnt even born yet. I remember skating around the house during blues games as a kid with my Keith Tkachuk's Jersey on always rooting for the blues. I'm 23 now and the blues have done it!
