Because of this movie, there are now real "School of Rock" after school programs here in the U.S. A few of my friends have their kids enrolled, and they play at real concert venues. It's amazing!

I taught a class on building plastic models, every Saturday for seven years. Some of my 'kids' stayed until they graduated from high school. Parents wanted to know what my secret was that got their kids so excited for this class, than regular school. Because they had a passion for what they were doing, and took that passion on to other things; I was only there to guide. We talked about everything under the sun while making things with our hands. I looked forward to it as much as they did. One boy took his passion with him to MIT.

This movie was so inspirational that an actual chain of School of Rock schools were created.

Btw the drummers name is Kevin Clark and he died in 2021. He was riding his bike when he was hit by a car. Sad stuff Rip Kevin Clark

The fact that jack black is a truly rock and roll fan, makes that this movie very moving and good ❤❤ According with jack black, he talk with Led Zeppelin for use the song inmigrant song for the movie and he did it, in fact, Led Zeppelin is known for not letting their songs be used in anything, be it movies or covers

this movie was so influential in our country,, so influential that they even formed their band of kids here in our city, they were joining the battle of the bands, and ofcourse it took them awhile to win, but they were instant favorites.

My siblings used to be in the band class. My brother the drummer and my sister the guitarist. After their done, they moved on for better. Music means everything for them. But they have work and support their future. They will play music again. Until the right time.
