The Acura NSX (or Honda NSX for you JDM purists) is the stuff of legend. But we all know that by modern standards, they're lacking a bit in the power department. So when you throw two turbos at one, then some BIG 'ol 335s on the back with the bodywork to match, you've got something magical. Like Rhett Panter's track beast right here.

Super rad car! There is actually a place up my street that is "the" Honda NSX place for like 60 some miles. So very frequently I'll see NSXs casually parked on my street or at the top of the block waiting to get there new suspension etc. Because of that I've gotten a huge appreciation for how cool these cars are, I mean they just look sick. And a rear engine honda?? That's just badass.

someone needs to stop the japanese car makers from remaking these legends, the supra, nsx, i wouldnt doubt if in the next year or so the rx7 is remade. let them die in peace with out tainting the name. the gtr doesnt count because even thought its a r35, its not called a skyline.
@jomaha9227
@jomaha9227 5 жыл бұрын
The R35 GT-R is one of the fastest and most capable platforms on the planet. They make 650hp with a few bolt ons and at this point are proving to be reliable even at higher hp. The new NSX is also an amazing platform with performance way above what the numbers would imply. They are very different cars than the originals, but so is a 2015 Mustang GT compared to a 1992 Mustang GT. That's the nature of progress. The new Supra has really missed the mark though. The engine is good, despite people complaining about the lack of 3JZ designation. It is still a closed-deck block that I fully expect to see 800-1000hp builds from. I just don't get the automatic only. Not even a DCT, just a run of the mill torque converter automatic ... to even call this a sportscar is tragic for Toyota. I just won't be able to get past that. How tone deaf.

I think people are too nostalgic about these 90's Japanese cars. They are great cars but every car you listed out performs it's previous generation. Yes they don't come with manuels but technology innovation has made it so we can go faster than we ever thought was possible 20 years agos and bring that to the production car market. You have to appreciate that, just a little
@chair362
@chair362 5 жыл бұрын
@@joeygonzalez2601 i do, i 100% respect the performance of these machines, and whilst i took the time to make and defend this comment, at the end if the day i deep down dont really care. i just think in my own opinion that they should have let the names die out and named the new ones something else, kind like when mazda made the rx8, and nissan dropping the skyline name. had they just said the new supra was the new " " and it was the replacement, so to speak. of the supra. it would have been better to me.

This is a dream car of mine. It’s a bit unattainable with my Disabled Vet income but I still hope one day. My heart skipped a beat when you opened the engine bay. How bad Ass would a First Gen. White Ford Raptor wide body with either a custom slant back bed or a slick custom flat trailer and maybe tie all three together with custom bead locks with a nice red ring on black wheels. The same stance For off-road the Raptor has the one add for me would be a nice matching side by side on a rack in the bed like Ken Blocks Raptor. I don’t know why I like that sort of look. Maybe it’s from seeing all the matching truck and boat combos that seemed to be popular in the late 90’s truck mags. I’ve even come up with an RV trailer combo that would match the truck and side by side(that would be in the trailer). That though is us moving into an RV with all that. It’s just my wife and I so we figure we don’t need to much space and we would get the chance to travel a bit when we could afford the fuel and didn’t have to deal with all the VA crud and how to get my meds. Maybe one day f I hit the lottery you can do a build breakdown on one of or maybe all of my crazy combo ideas.

Guys my only critique on build biology is how you dont let us hear the car idle, run as it pulls up to the lift, Please let us hear the gorgeous thing guys i beseech you. Otherwise, another killer episode!!!!!
