Hey! I've partly not covered the 13th doctor era on thehostproductions for two main reasons. Firstly due to being busy with other reviews but secondly (and i think probably mostly) the response to the era through the fans has been awful. Regardless of if I've liked or disliked an episode you are always going to get the same old comments that have been thrown around since the day of Jodie's announcement. (honestly how are these people not tired yet?) So i've avoided talking about it through videos to make life happier to be honest, which is quite sad come to think of it. I think all the doctors have something to love about them, I enjoy 13 and some of her adventures are great... some are also bad but thats like EVERY doctor. I appreciate what she has brought to the role and although i don't watch her stories for comfort as i would with the sixth doctor or ninth, i know that there is fans out there who do. And ultimately - that doesn't bother me, as i know one day we will get a doctor again that i do feel fully invested in. I hope that the era is going to age well, i think some episodes in particular will, i watched the Tesla episode the other day and loved it. I just wish we had more time to explore this incarnation and do more with her character.

@@thehostproductions I agree the fandom has been very toxic for a good number of years which puts me off having discussions about it with others. I'm like you I'm not the current eras biggest fan nor biggest detractor, there are episodes i like and ones i don't, think Jodies terrific but the characterisation fairly lacking or inconsistent for 13 I enjoyed sundays episode and already feeling better companion chemistry than the fam it all seemed a bit more relaxed and natural. And yeah i hope Big Finish will hopefully tap into the potential that 13 has eventually, unless of course Series 13 succeeds in that regard then Big finish would just ride that wave. Given RTDs return announcement and from what I've seen a mostly positive outlook on sundays episode maybe the fandom could turn a more positive and friendly corner. And leave the reactionary outrage sides to the dust Thanks for answering.😊
