Three families all struggling to cope with their tearaway toddlers have been invited to live here and try and turn their lives around in just 6 days. The person who’s going to help them with this mammoth task is clinical psychologist Dr Tanya Byron.
The design and construction of the house has been completed in conjunction with a committee of childcare experts to make sure that it is a safe, fun place for kids to stay. Whilst also re-creating a realistic and practical home environment. The remote cameras and those located behind the 2-way mirrors allow Dr Tanya to observe the pitfalls, the progress, the tantrums and the tears, 24-hours a day, every day.
For the families chosen to be part of this unique program, this is make or break. For Dr Tanya Byron this is the biggest challenge of her career.

What a wonderful series. I am a grandmother of 2 granddaughters and raised my 3 sons alone. I wished I would have had a Tanya Byron in the days. It would have been so much better. This whole series should be made available for ever and ever, and made compulsary viewing for all who have children around. Such an eyeopener! I love Tanya Byron to death. So refreshing to hear her non judgemental approach, and what it brings to the families. Behind every face of every stranger can lay so much hurt and pain. I am watching this series over and over and learn new things by every turn, being non judgemental the main thing we can all use in our daily life. Thanks Tany Byron and thanks whoever puts this series up! I have also wondered how it ended with Amelia. Very strong willed, and wether her and her mom found peace in the end. Smashing series...

@@helenasturdevant1275 It's a different approach. I have heard people before saying that. I find Jo more the pure common sense and life experience. I prefer Tanya, but we are all different. It's good that there are different approaches. I just loved the concept of the house with Tanya. 😃😀😃😀😃

@@helenasturdevant1275 Because Tanya is a child psychologist, she delves into the reasons why the parents and children have their behaviors and helps them understand why they have behaved in the ways they at they do. Because she approaches problems in this way, she is more likely to achieve long term success. She also continues to work with the families after they leave the house. Jo doesn’t work with deep seated issues such as food phobias and parental abandonment.
