Great video guys, as always! And about those weird hen sounds, our domestic turkey hen makes those "sore throat" calls very rarely when she is kinda angry. This video is the first time I hear that sound from a wild hen. Thank you for creating the best hunting videos available! God bless

My favorite episode ever bcz, even though it’s obviously not your daughter, leading up to her getting the shot and talking her through when to move and get comfortable, reminded me sooo much of taking my daughter out!! She is 10 now, been by my side for 6 years and the last three she has been the shooter. No feeling better… you’re gonna be a good addition to the “girl dad” club one day brother ❤🎉 🦃

In Wisconsin we need people to do the same thing and pick up the garbage I want to one spot and there was garbage bags all over the public lane right next to the private land. There was even couches and parts of cars in the woods.

I have heard a hen do just THAT! Check this out and skip to 21:00 when an old raspy hen walks in to 5 feet and sets up camp for the next ten minutes on a log ten yards behind us. She does every vocalization I’ve ever heard and some I never had before and haven’t since. That vocalization you asked about is at 25:25 to 25:30. Vid ends showing g why not to set up with vid lens facing the sun. That same hen makes her voice heard two years later in my “honey hole” vid. No doubt it’s her…and I love her! Sorry for the amateurism…I record for memories and family and friends and doctor folks for a living! Living vicariously through y’all till April arrives. Thanks for getting me thru Feb and March!

I have heard that croaking sound. I'm pretty sure one was a jake that flew across a logging road. I raised my gun to shoot, but couldnt see a beard and held off. The other came in behind me while I was calling. I thought I could slowly turn to see it but it spooked off. I never saw it.
