The circles are for a secret animation. Turn all cursed possessions on in custom. Then light the circle. And I think each wing of the map gets locked during a hunt

@@captainblackbeard1934 when you do custom difficulty and have it so you have all 6 cursed objects, if you then lights the candles of the summoning circle, it will do a secret animation, as well as start a hunt

@@user-jg9rp5qf4g Exactly. If it wasn't so common it wouldn't dig at me so much, but it's like every 10-15 seconds, almost on a cue. It would be fine if he was only screaming at the scares, but it's unnecessarily screaming every other sentence even when he's just responding to someone.

I still think you should get more of a jump scare when caught by ghosts, they don't need any random ones in between but at least during the kill

Imagine if one of the scares just had your character look down at themselves and see like a ghost grabbing your ankle and then you just get dragged by the feet for an animation... it would give that moment of "oh sh*t" before you are suddenly pulled from your feet into the dark. To others it could just look like you drop your stuff then get pulled away before body goes limp. Another idea is sorta like the one death scene from Alien Isolation when the alien stabs the character through the chest/stomach, but instead it's like the ghost punches their fist through you and then you see as their face comes into your peripheral, maybe doing a hush motion with their other hand? Maybe one death could be based on possession, where the ghost uses a pocket knife or something the character could potentially have on them to kill their own host aka the player by stabbing themselves? Grim but neat I think. I could also see the shock value of having one animation where the character trips, turns around still on the ground, and the ghost is running at them, I imagined this including a ghost that was on fire or something... extra spoopy. Maybe one death could be the character stopping turning to look behind themselves, then looking back and just having the ghosts face in yours before it screams and kills you. It would also be cool if certain death/kill animations were tied to specific ghosts, acting as hidden evidence, would make dying not completely useless and would add another layer of interest to the game. Also banshee kills/start of haunts should have a low chance to have a "banshee scream" because that would be dope. I'm sure if given enough time I'd be able to come up with plenty of creepy new jump scare death animation ideas.

Good lord I get such a happy bliss when I watch his videos, they actually mean a lot to me, I remember watching him when I was younger in 2014, and I absolutely loved it, he’s one of the main people who’s genuinely removed my fears because he makes horror scary, now I look at any monster and go “Yeah I’ve seen way better scary things like Icy’s scream,” and I just get so happy to watch his videos, like the best I can explain is IGP became one of favorite KZfaqrs because he has such interesting videos, he can make the poorest quality game look so fun to play.

Know whats scarier IGP? They changed how ghosts sound, so if they're far away, you cannot hear them anymore. They'll be super near when you begin hearing gurgling or growling.
